Not sure how many know this, but hard cover prevents you from getting staggered by rocket troopers, prime drones, hunters, etc.

 

Same goes for enemies.

Venom staggers enemies even when they are hiding in hard cover. 

 

Also, stagger is not a big deal for enemies but it is for us.

Collectors just generally laugh.  They have a much underrated appreciation of humour.

I've Staggered/Pulled/Stasised/Killed Rocket Troopers, they responded with a Rocket to the face.

 

Hunters too, to a lesser extent.  Just yesterday I had a Hunter that a teammate Pulled up into the air, I put it into Statis afterwards, it wasn't even facing me either, and its shotgun was off in some random direction, but it blasted me right in the face.  It looked so stupid.

Hard cover is basically only useful for avoiding Praetorian laz0r damage.

Gotta quote this for emphasis, because people seem really ignorant about this.
