ME3-F Tournament Announcement!

Once the registrations for the Spectre tournament will be over, I think we will look for a way to control the scores. The builds used may be asked (to make sure all the medals obtained are possible).
As for the replays, it may be asked to record them, without uploading them - the upload would be necessary only if some exotic screenshots happen, to control that everything was honest. Again, we are thinking about it, but if some professionnal players manage to cheat while playing Starcraft 2 and get away with it, I doubt we will manage to spot extremely motivated & dishonest players.

Part of the problem is that as soon as you have a competition on a easily modifiable platform they will always be those that do a Captain Kirk and change the rules of the game to get an unfair advantage. I suppose there's some consistency in that Spectres are meant to do whatever it takes to accomplish their task.
I'd even go as far as to encourage modding the objectives if you're on PC, just to spite you and everyone else who cries ****** murder every time an objective wave is modified.

I don't really have any idea what I'm going to be doing, but I'm constantly playing this game anyway, so what the heck.

Two of the best players I've ever played this game with were dutch
They even still come around here, from time to time, I think.
Really? Never seen a player that proclaimed they were Dutch. Would be great to chat with players in my own goddamn language from time-to-time
But would you be up to start a team with me and Alfonsedode?

Well, I'd love to team up with you and Alfonse, you're both great guys. I'm just not gonna take part in this tournament, sorry.
Same as I didn't play the last one(s) they had when the game was actually active and the field "competitive", if you'll let that slide. I just don't like the concept of competition in a PVE game, especially one based on a silly and completely arbitrary number that appears at the end of the game. I mean, I do understand why people feel this way and enjoy taking part in these sort of competitions, and I do not judge them, it's just... Not my cup of tea ![]()
I still support the making of such things, with all the effort that I'm sure they require, as they end up being very beneficial for the game and the player base, I believe. I know the one organized by DragonRacer was a great success. So... Keep up the good work, I guess. The fact that so many people would sign up for such a thing at this point in the game's life is... Quite stunning and beautiful at the same time, isn't it? ![]()

On another note, since this tournament was born in a community that mostly existed on TeamSpeak, the teams should get the option to gather there if they do not have another favored way of chatting. It is not 100% sure because I am not the administrator of the channel, but it should happen.

Right, we'd like to participate as well in the Spectre competition:
xelander:
Origin ID: x3lander, PC, GMT +1, Germany
muahmuah:
Origin ID: Miranda_LawsoN7, PC, GMT +2, Bulgaria
We'll form a team with AW_FC_1986 and a fourth player, we still don't know who exactly. I'll post here again when we've decided on a team name and logo.

@B1B1
If you order Germany and France along the Central European Summer Time (GMT +2), you should probably order the other European countries in the same way. I believe people posted their time zone with respect to Central European Standard Time (GMT +1, in the case of FR and DE). Slovenia, Hungary and Bulgaria have another time zone than Germany (+1 hour), and Belarus has yet another hour on them. I suspect our American friends also posted their time zone with respect to Standard time and not Summer Daylight Saving Time.
