Who's heard some interesting or funny background dialogue as you walk by other people? 

 

Just the other day, as I completed capturing the keep in the Western Approach, I was walking down from the top after speaking with the officer on duty. As I went down to the exit, I overheard a soldier say this;

"All right men. Who can tell me what are the chief weapons of the Inquisition?"

 

I tried to back track to see if more would be said, but it was already over. I laughed because I think this is a Monty Python skit reference. (Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is fear.... fear and surprise. Etc etc.)

 

 

So what have you heard?

Human: “Right. If you’re so smart, tell me how Corypheus can do all those things? How it’s not elves.”
Dwarf: “Seems to me, he’s human, or was. Humans believe some really stupid things and steal almost everything.”
Dwarf: “So maybe he stole some stuff and is insane.”

It actually is a parody of that Monty Python skit. as the soldiers answer, one will say surprise, another will say good clothes or something like that. I can't remember exactly what the 3 soldiers answer with.

So what have you heard? 

I think it was that same group the Commander said something like "I'll put my boot so far up your *** you'll be spitting rivets". 

 

There are two nobles in the hall at Skyhold who commentate on your romance. 

Male - "Has there been an exchange?"

Female - "Oh you are awful".

Male - "No, I don't mean like that, I mean gifts or something".

Female - "Of a sort, all very romantic"

Male - "Ah, vicariously satisfying".

The conversation changes through each stage of the romance.

I remember a banter between soldiers in the griffon keep. Iirc, one complains that a lot of soldiers die except the people in the quizzie's party. Another one answers and says the inquizitor has the blessing of the maker, and the other one says: "how do I get in that squad?"

The background chatter when you make a crappy impression at Halamshiral is pretty good, too.
