Movie watched, book read, or song heard. Anything that you were just so excited to share with somebody, anybody and then looked around and there was nobody to share it with. :/

Eg.

I watched 50 Shades of Grey (Gray?) yesterday. It happened. It would have been better if it were with Asari and Turians...

Series: Just Game of Thrones S05E05. Not bad, not bad, but it just feels like it's the calm before the storm.

Movie: Uh, I can't remember, it's been too long since I've seen one. Probably that utopistic sci-fi thingy with Jeff Bridges back in last September I think (The Giver, or something like that).

Music: this piece of craziness. Just the thing to get me pumped for workouts.

Have you read The Giver? I read that in elementary school and it was actually my fav book for many years! I haven't seen the movie yet though.. I don't want it to shatter the memories... Like the Lord of The Rings did to me..

No, when I saw the movie was the first time I heard about it (I'm also kinda proud for remembering it, since the Hungarian title is a lot different /Az emlékek őrzője -- The Keeper of Memories/, and I only read about it in English once of twice I think).

What about LoTR? I've first seen the movies, then read the books -- several times. It was a pretty good adaptation, even with the omission of some major elements (like Tom Bombadil, khmmmm, khmmmmmm).

That it impressive lol!

I agree, I thought the adaptation was great. I'm just a little bitter towards movies being made of classic books. I read them several times prior to the movies, and my imagination of what Lord of the Rings was and of who the characters were, I feel, was completely replaced by the cast and scenes from the film. Granted, I don't mind many of the characters and the scenery was stunning. I just don't like that it forever supplants your imagination. The thing with books is that they are unique to everybody. That's my qualm with the whole thing. lol

@AW_FC, He was Anakin SKywalker in the prequel trilogy of Lord of the RIngs, also in Life As a House, and Jumper. I like him as an actor, and he's Canadian :P

Yeah, I know Christensen from Star Wars and Jumper.

But Anakin Skywalker appeared in Lord of the Rings? :P

Darth Vader was in the third lord of the rings. You missed that part? :P I thought that was the voice narrating in person of interest. I soon realized I was mistaken..

Haven't watched 50 shades of grey, but I came across this song which was used in the movie. Brilliant, brilliant song.

And over the last couple of weeks or so, I am hooked onto this song. European football/soccer lovers will understand.

I've been trying to convince my friend to try a violin cover for both these song along with me, but no time to sit together and practice. :(

You're goddamn right that 50 shades of junk would have been better with turians

I haven't watched a movie in a while ("movie" implies that I will have around 90 minutes of free time during which I am awake... that simply does not happen) but I did listen to the ME1 soundtrack this morning while I was writing some junk for work.

The Champions League theme is more like an advertising gimmick. You can´t sing to it.

I know, but it's very well orchestrated and pretty catchy. :)

I guarantee that if you're drunk enough, you can sing anything. :D

Star Wars: Clone Wars - the animated series. So good. Soooo good. The last pieces of the "Lucasian canon" (George Lucas is a f*cking genius for creating the SW universe btw.). I'm really looking forward to, well, anything that expands the Clone Wars era. There is still a lot of potential there. I'm also glad that Rebels is apparently bringing back some of the "Old Republic" stuff into canon status, I can't wait for more. I haven't finished Clone Wars yet, so I didn't even start Rebels, but boy, does it seem interesting...

Yes! I've watched all the clone wars and am up to date with Rebels. I agree, Lucas is a creative Genius. I wont reveal any spoilers, but Rebels is great, especially season 2 :) Also, fully expecting a Rogue One Trailer soon. Hopefully May 4th.

As for spoilers, I'm kinda up to date with Rebels too, I just haven't seen every (or more like any) episode yet. But the next episode, "Twilight of the apprentice" seems really interesting.

Have you seen the Rogue One teaser trailers yet? There are two so far, but none of them is official, but both are leaks I think. Both look great.

I have not... Didn't know about those. I'll probably wait til the official teaser. I wonder if I'll bawl my eyes out like with the force awakens trailer... probably less likely since this is a war movie. Or more likely? #yes

None of them say, well, anything about the movie itself, but they set the tone....

They really don't show anything, but holy f*ck how scary the Death Star looming over a planet is...
