But when I pug Gold and Collectors comes up, I know I'm gonna hear nothing but "My soup!" {stomp} for the next 20 minutes.
Looking for ideas for a decent main gun. Outside-the-box ideas welcome. I like the Acolyte (have it as a backup to stagger Phantoms) but I usually play her at slightly longer range than I can get it to work reliably. (I know... l2acolyte.) I could do Disruptor rounds, but that ruins the FE fireworks I love so much, and TBs aren't as good as FEs anyway.
Floor's open for suggestions. Or mockery. I expect some of both.

I used the executioner with her a few times. I didn't hate it.

Claymoar

Freeze one thing, shoot another thing in the face, use incinerate to detonate the frozen thing and reload cancel, and repeat. Cryo Debuff+ Claymoar+ firesplosions absolutely shreds armor. Use shock/rocket turret for CC against mobs and to stagger problem enemies/ remove Banshee bubble. Who needs a lame stripper pistol when you can reduce a Fantum's head to melon chunks in one blast?
I also switch it up. Most shotguns are pretty fun (Raider/ Graal/ Talon etc.), as is Arc Pistol if you just want everything to die really fast.

Claymore simply rocks on her. My build is identical to yours BTW, and it definitely works well even for a total scrub (i.e., me) so simply swap to the Claymore and give it a run for a couple games. You'll see ![]()

The wraith is good choice, and the CSMG as well (bit similar to the lancer). I would like to suggest the Talon: lighter than the wraith, it has a nice bonus vs shields and barriers (which is the weak side of the QFE) and strips shields/barriers of any gold mook with one headshot. With cryo ammo you freeze them up with the same shot.

Alternatively with pistol power magnifier + AP ammo instead of piercing mod + cryo. Cryo is fun though and it fits well with the Talon and with QFE.

Think I've used everything mentioned in this thread on my QFE. All good choices depending on your play style. I've also used the Adas with success - both Cryo and Phasic ammos. I avoid Disruptor Rounds for the reason mentioned above (weaker 'splosions). While not as ear-piercing as a Marksman class with the Adas, it is still a good stagger weapon and ammo applier. The rub with that weapon is really the lack of armor piercing. Incinerate helps with bosses, etc., but Guardians will laugh at your pea shooter if you're not dropping your turret behind them.

I guess it would take for me to come through for someone to mention 'Raider'.
Also, I got 5/3 passive/fitness for power damage, and I'd use Adrenaline instead of Cyclonic.

Skip Cryo. It makes you slow.

I didn't see that debuff in cryo my bad, regardless I am a scrub and don't like turret and need fitness

This is the setup I use: Link
Your turret is your fitness. Versus phantoms, a combo of your turret and your powers/weapons will take them out relatively easily. Versus guardians, just toss the turret behind them and go about your business. Either the turret will kill them, or they'll turn around to attack it. An interesting fact I discovered recently; the turret's AP ammo also doubles its damage vs health. You have something for everything; the talon to deal with shields/barriers, incinerate+cryo for armor, plus incindiary booms for bonuses. One of my favorite classes, by far. Focus everything and you should be able to pull off 8-10k DPS, no problem.

since you are already running a cyclonic IV, you should try splitting 4/4 or 5/3 turret and fitness (or same with fitness/passive). There's not a whole lot of difference between 1500 (no fitness) and 1890 (full fitness) shields anyway in terms of damage thresholds. You'll still tank banshee warp and full Prime/Fantum/Ravager salvo on gold either way, and still get shieldgated by scions and atlases in one hit, so fitness is pretty much a waste of the points with the Cyclonic anyway.
Turret's a nice stagger/ CC tool with the shock and can kill weaker enemies by itself when fully upgraded.

And here I thought you would have gotten who I was from that last post. Guess I'll have to bump a thread I made a long time ago in a galaxy far far away

I like the Lancer on her. But then again, I like the Lancer on pretty much every class. I only wish it wasn't my lowest-leveled gun.
Also, I'll be honest, I tried the Revenant on her once (something like this), and it worked decently well. It requires hard cover use to be effective though, so I wouldn't recommend it for levels higher than Gold.
