Nice, I didn't see that. You go Cryo ammo 46655 with her too, huh?
I used to run a 46664 build before, but switched to 46655. Cryo adas (cryo + any stagger weapon) is the only way I seem to have fun with QFE, so I stuck with it. ![]()

Seriously, test it vs. a solo Atlas for better numbers. A banshee without her denial field and teleport shenenigans doesn't last 18sec.

I did, took about 25-26 secs. That involved things like me getting hit by a rocket, getting staggered and having to relocate to a second cover.
Atlas isn't a good indication as well because of all the multi-hit glitches. Prime, on the other hand has no double hits. Cryo adas took 17s, cryo claymore took 10-11s, I believe (not all were headshots).
Here, I got her a vest.

The 18s included me dodging warp a couple times, her bringing up hand of denial once, me casting a turret and tracking back while she was teleporting for the first few seconds. With other enemies shooting at me, I could see the time going up by a few seconds. But I can balance that by abusing incendiary glitch and any damage done by team is good as well.
The rough TTK I inferred OTOH from gold banshee barrier/armor numbers and that build you posted on page 1 doesn't add up to 18 seconds in any way with an extra 5+ seconds from having a power blocked, waiting for cooldown, turret casting animation and cooldown again. You could probably get closer to that number were the build optimized with a different ammo and taking duration instead of radius on CB and damage on Inc, but I can't be bothered to run numbers because I see no need to defend a totally not-obvious, dismissive hyperbole from a humorless pedant who took it literally and was rustled enough to try and refute it nonironically with multiple(lol) irrelevant tests. Clearly, the post did its job a little too well.
Have fun with your lolcryo tedium. I don't play this game to stare at predictable and unchallenging armor slabs for half of the game(*). I play it to bring the quarian truth to unwashed plebs like you.
*statement in question may be a conditional exaggeration
^ i tested it ingame and found it no where close to your claims. Daemion who uses similar build agrees with me.
You just run some numbers and call me names. Oh, wow, how very clever.
Idc though. Anyone who uses the adas can replicate my results, with a small difference. Not everyone has to worship the lolclaymore.
I ran the numbers OTOH and found your claim unfeasible, especially in practical terms. Out of hand TTK numbers and a random hobo I found agree with me, because that's totally relevant and infalliable.
You wouldn't get called a pedant if you didn't get pedantic over the specifc and ultimately irrelevant expression of time used for a facetious statement. I don't see how it is insulting to use the proper term unless you actually took the statement literally, whereupon adding the adjective humourless would also be apt. Don't get mad that you can't handle the truth.
Anyone who uses Adas can dilate the spacetime continuum? Who said anything about Claymore? Of course not everyone has to worship the High Lord. He does need His tribute in nonbeliveing infidels, after all.
You running more ridiculous "tests" without even l2headshots just to show that He kills the targets that He is comparatively worst against about twice as fast as your treasonous lolcryo caster nonsense in addition to being way moar awesome doesn't help your case. Stay Tedious™ bosh'tet. You have been Claymoar'd.
I would sick the Drone on a mook I'd want out of commission, and instead the Drone runs away until he has enough distance to commence his super slow Rocket attack, meanwhile the mook is totally kicking my butt out in the open. Only after I take him out the Drone fires his rocket. Useless. Because Shock Drone would of put him and others out of commission ASAP. Moral; don't ever pick Rocket on Drone or you'll totally miss it's true greatness. Making mooks look like chimps).
Also, given a parity of players, statistics make 100% of the difference, because we're assuming that the players are playing with absolutely equal skill. In that situation, a player that does more damage will do better. On a functional level, you've removed the player from the equation.
I don't disagree. The problem is your statistics would be grossly misleading even in ideal circumstances because you aren't taking any variables except single target sustained DPS into account. Leaving aside the veracity of claims made in either side of the DPS math war for a second, a setup with higher movement speed, superior range and more burst damage is going to be faster and more efficient in most circumstances in this game unless the opposing build just has so much more sustained DPS that it doesn't matter that you are reaching every spawn with things already dead. Its the same reason why the Widow is better than the Incisor in most circumstances even though the latter has a healthy sustained DPS advantage. Arc Grenades (instant damage and greater versatility) vs Infernos (massive DOT) would be another good analogy.
I've tried the Talon on her. It is good, but definitely has range limitations compared to other weapons you can use on her, especially with a power amp instead of an AM3. It's great on Glaicer, but an absolute nightmare on Rio, Condor or Hydra because its OHK range on mooks (if we count using incinerate follow ups as an OHK) is literally melee distance on most enemies and it leaves you exposed for quite a while (especially with a damage turret, which I admittedly haven't really used all that much). Claymore is going to wipe out mooks quite a bit faster on her as you needn't even use your power combos on the same enemy you are targeting with your weapon to kill both in a single hit/combo. I don't really see what Talon does better than Arc Pistol or Wraith apart from stripping away shields/barriers from big armor. It's weaknesses are less pronounced against armor slab factions like Reapers or Collectors, but with them the Claymore is going to kill everything but shield/barrier bosses in like a 5 second window of burst damage anyway, DOT's be damned.
Not saying its not a good build that is potentially roughly equal, just that you declaring it objectively superior to Deerber's seems like its reaching a bit. It won't reach effective range nearly as fast, and it won't deal as much damage upfront, and won't be able to stay exposed and dealing damage for as long in practical terms. It doesn't even come close to the destruction you can cause with an Arc Pistol with her on pretty much any map, which I think would be a better basis for making a claim of absoulute superiority in most circumstances. Or Wraith, which is similar to a Talon in DPS and weight but has way more effective range and a lot more burst damage.
Well the truth is I do all this just so I can make the Sentry Turret badass. And boy oh boy did I succeed. Heck, that thing's a better player than I am sometimes. ![]()

I do the same sort of build when I run weaker weapons on her. I like using the Executioner because then I feel like the turret is actually contributing a decent share of damage. Because of its native piercing, you don't need a piercing mod on it so you can equip the magnifier and your chosen incendiary or disruptor ammo without much drawback. It's also not very reliant on getting in close to start doing good damage. The turret can kill things pretty okay if you tailor the build around it will full power damage and an amp, but compare it to the carnage you can cause by doing the same thing with pretty much any kit that has grenades, even before factoring in capacity gear. Or lamer, which is brainlessly easy to use and does a million DPS per cast.
I feel they should have given the pet damage a multiplier that increases with difficulty much like they do with enemy attack damage and power combo damage. The turret could do 2.5-3x the damage it currently does on gold/ plat and it wouldn't be as OP as half the powers and kits in this game, but more people might actually play the QFE and Sabotuer, or the Human Engie. The puggernaut would also be much better if the turret actually did enough damage to make up for you taking 10 minutes to reach the spawns.
I don't disagree.
