tried out the new pride demon on threatening, still not as deadly they normally are treated to be for their size but it could just be avvar face melting it with damage. Will try other classes sometime. But really appreciate the thoughtfulness going into these balance changes!

In complete agreement with the folks wanting guard to actually, you know, mean and do something. Rather than be gone almost as soon as you get it.
As someone who favors playing warriors the most, I'd be mighty pleased with literally any token thing that can be done to make guard less laughable.

It looks like we're slightly coming up against a wall in terms of what can be done for weekly balance changes; due to certain stat categories requiring a patch. Still, I think a majority of these enemy balances were necessary, and the Avvar buffs should go a long way for the character. Good on ya Luke

Berserker risk/reward is now a little more forgiving as we've normalized the incoming and outgoing damage boosts to 50% for all three ranks for this item effect.
Berserker
- Damage boost (all tiers) is now 50%
- Damage taken (all tiers) increase is now 50%
I really hope this will apply to singleplayer too, at least in the next patch! I might consider using it now! Maybe ![]()

Indeed. I'd rather they make that easier to dodge (if you're paying attention) than decrease the damage of the attack. That would encourage smart gameplay. As it stands, I can run or jump the instant I see the blob on the ground below me, and still get hit. Every time.

Just wondering if there were any plans to give Spirit Mark a little love? I hardly ever see Necromancers actually use their only real necromancy spell, and with good reason - the thrall often just sits around, doing absolutely nothing, even when there is literally nothing else on the battlefield except itself and a bunch of enemies.
It would be nice if the thrall were extremely aggressive, attacking everything it sees. I also think it'd make sense for the thrall to not have a timer (that is, to last until it gets killed by another enemy) for anything that isn't a Pride Demon, Behemoth, Bronto or Giant (which should instead last around 90 seconds). Even a permanent Rage Demon, Bear or Shadow will not compete with, say, Immolate, Fire Mine, or Walking Bomb in terms of DPS and utility. Naturally, if the thrall were permanent until death, it would also make sense for it to follow you closely during instances of non-combat.
Anyway, these balance changes look really good, I can't wait to face the buffed Pride Demon and Behemoth. I'm also liking those mana reductions, especially for Winter's Grasp (although if I'm honest, I don't know if the mana reduction alone will be enough to make people want to use Flashfire...). Best part of all this, those f*cking hyenas aren't tougher than a guy in full plate armor anymore. Oh, and the avvar too. Time will tell if the buff is enough to make him more viable.

I don't have Siege's End anymore. I do have call of the dark. However , I would still go Dragon Maul due to all the damage bonii based on the base weapon damage.

was Berserk on shields changed as well or was it just weapons? looking at the wintersbreath and it still has the old 10/100 distribution. or was it just weapons that had the 20/200 that were changed?
