Game finished. I already told that it got TOOOOO EASY after you reach 12th level (which seems very premature).

Let me list the MAIN pros and cons I think about the game...

Pros:

  • very beautiful, detailed and big open areas. DA2 repeated dungeons and rooms, has definately been fixed!
  • NPC's (e.g: Varric and Cassandra) interactions with each other gives a sensation you're really going in an adventure with your friends;
  • the history was rich, detailed and it's progress was well defined across the game;

Cons:

  • game got toooo easy (I don't get tired of stating that! heheheh) too soon;
  • it should be better if **some** of the side quests could interact and interfere in the world of DA and even in the main mission;
  • the world could be something worth of exploring! Little side quests to enrich the game, or just more interaction with the NPC (in Skyrim you can even get married!)
  • according to your actions, people should fear or love you in a way that, when you arrive at some village, people could throw roses over your or get themselves locked inside their houses
  • enemies MUST attack you! Come on! You enter THEIR area... but when you see a enemy, he stays stucked in his place until you get 1 or 2 meters from him! How about been ambushed? Flanked? Surrounded by lots of enemies (in some cases, forcing you to retreat)? No... combats follow some mechanics that makes it very predictable;

I could list some other things, but I think I prefer to comment on someone's else post!

See you!

Did you play on nightmare with friendly-fire on? If not, try that. The game is easy anyway, but turning on friendly-fire should help with challenge a bit.

Agree, it is too easy...which makes it boring for me. And yes I did play on nightmare with friendly fire....still not challenging.

The main quest line is depressingly short

It's not the difficulty setting that bothered me, or didn't present a challenge. It's the rushed and lame ending that left me with the sense that I was just fighting a small fight, and not the big bad boss. The feeling you got when you finally defeat Saren in ME1 (conversely also the Archdemon in DA:O)? I can't see why they are UTTERLY UNABLE to reproduce this.

MAin quest is too short, and the game's companions development and combat gameplay suffered a lot from lack of resources, due to being all focused on a sandbox environment. There are people who like it, people who dont. It was fun for the first time, but since the game is too easy, it is difficult for me to find replayability.

From level 10, the game is a joke.

And the last story mission do not feel threatening

I have tried replaying this game so many times and I end up getting bored. I try carrying on with my highest play through doing a few extra sides but I just give up because once the short main quest is done there seems no point and everything gets too easy after a while. I don't mind easy if it's going somewhere with a long main quest. Bring back origins length main quests

Well then, leave the main quest till the very end ;) It's what I do. If I don't, I lose utter interest in the game.

I completed the game twice and learned all there is to know.

re-playability is non existent.

Only thing worth doing in my second run was defeat all 10 dragons and complete the story choosing different options.

All done within 40 hours plus a certain amount of side quests.
