I notice that, when I'm in stealth, the Hunters Spike Trap doesn't always crit hit. Is this intended, or is this a potential glitch? Xbox One btw.

I believe it only works if you don't have the upgrade that lets you use spike trap without breaking stealth, but I can't say for certain.

Sounds like something that's going to need a patch.

As FRZN said It will only crit hit without the upgrade, they may want to change the description of it to make it clearer.. :(  Too bad tho, I like laying down spike traps and stay in stealth..

Been using throwing knives recently, from stealth they do a ton of damage, easily 1000+ per knife, make sure you hit from back or flank tho, those pesky swordsmen can block them as well..

They don't need to change that, IMO.

My Spike Traps crit for 2,3k damage and I'm almost certain the blast radius has been increased, too. It would be insane if you could force it, so it's a strategic decision you will have to make. I am aware of both possibilities and still choose the stealth upgrade. Killing an entire group of archers without breaking stealth is too powerful not to have.

By the way, I ran into you the other day! We were both joining a Threatening PuG in the Fereldan Castle; you were playing Necro and yours truly was the Hunter who was busy reviving (I maxed out the DBNO-limit on both of the other guys), while you were merrily bombing away in the final fight. We ultimately failed versus the Red Templar Commander.

What a sad introduction that was :]

True, spike traps do a nice lot of damage, great to place between a bunch of archers, it blows them all up even with the upgrade.

I still struggle with the RTC, especially on zone 5 where there is hardly anywhere to hide!  My apologies if my heart was not in it..

What gamer tag are you using?  I usually recognise other BSNers but I don't think you play under the same name ..:)

Oh and I forgot, since a lot of Archers now use Spike Trap, I had to hipster out again and replaced Leaping Shot with Throwing Blades - it is glorious. It's probably my new favourite skill.

No, you were doing great. You were carrying us damage wise, while I, for retrospectively no other reason than compassion, tried keeping the other two on their feet. If anything, had I tried to help you with actually fighting instead, we might have won. Alas, it was fun nontheless!
