Seems PSN found some Viagra and got back up at some point during the night. Community making up for it and burning through dragons. Over halfway to 8,000 and close to third star, sitting at 4,551.
Gonna go join them. I only managed one Dragon Call/one successfully-killed fire dragon before we went down last night. I have work to do...

Just finished off my personal challenge thanks to finding an awesome PUG this morning that was an absolute wrecking crew. One of the Frost Dragons dropped a Virtuoso for me, so now I can stop frantically searching for cloth to craft him. 
PS4 at 5,534 / 8,000. Comfortably in hand. Good time to head off and to the racetrack to watch hubby play for a while.

So...this is an extended challenge but almost all platforms are done, if not done at the time of this post. Does that mean we still have to wait the extended time for victory chests or will they be awarded as normal?

Unless it's the rare version instead of unique, I dunno, it's like they're making this game easier than it needs to be. Easy loot, tier 3 upgrades to make most (not all) of the dragon drops pointless, good times.

Pleasantly surprised by the number of people using dragon calls on PS4. Got into 3 groups that stuck together, and everybody contributed with 1 or 2 calls at some point. And was also pleasantly surprised at the level of perilous PUG matches this weekend. We completed every single match.
It's been a good challenge, 6 personal dragons done as well now.
I do find the frost dragon the easiest one to go for.
