Had it happen to me too, it comes from the Keeper's passive ability allowing the next spell to be free after the barrier breaks/wears off, not sure how the virtuoso leeches onto it though.

Yes it mana surge passive. It sometimes goes on party members.
This bug is old as inquisition, I remember it from SP but don't know how to replicate it on demand.
Still when it happens it hilarious. You can die and it stays. Infinite mana all the time.
They probably forget to tag virtuoso ability as "ability", because from what I remember on SP even warriors could get that and any ability would just consume the buff and gave free cost on ability.
