Do you have a theory?
No, because we have zero confirmed information.

...if you have confirmed information then you don't have a theory, you have facts.

Hey, I'm just trying to have fun with guessing what's going on and what we can expect. Some people just like to be rain clouds over a parade.

There is literally no information at all pertaining to any section of space anywhere being called "Helius" in any way, shape, or form.

It is the subject of the leak

This qualifies as information.

I meant pertaining to real life, as in what the Mass Effect Helius Cluster could be based off of.
The closest thing is Helios spacecraft.

Mass Effect makes up a lot of names for galactic locations. I don't see how its important if there was nothing about 'Helius' IRL.
I'm not saying that this rumor of a leak is true - I just don't consider Helius not being a real named location as relevant.

Helius is likely just a change up of Helios, which I am pretty sure is a Greek or Roman God. Also was a satellite or space probe.

That's why we are speculating about why that particular name was chosen. It could be that they just thought the name sounded cool...or there could be something more.

Thank you, exactly! This could mean nothing - a speculation based on a false rumor. I'm very aware of that. But speculation based on false rumors is quite fine as long as all participants are aware of that context.
I took Helios/Helius and ran with it. I maybe made the mistake of later explaining a bit of my combination of it with other ideas of mine, but whatever. ITs fun regardless.

Helio = (prefix) of or pertaining to the sun.
Heliosphere: sun.
Heliocentric: Sun-centered model.
Helius Cluster: A cluster of suns.
Probably that simple.

Did real-life atronomy even bother to name anything within Andromeda specifically? If not, BW can basically make up whatever they want
