My gaming burns up a lot of unnecessary electricity which is created by the burning of fossil fuels. This in turn is leading to global warming thus killing many plants and animals.
I only like video game violence, not real.
Is there a more Eco friendly way to game?

Go oldskool and use actual board games such as chess, monopoly or pictionary.

Make sure everything is turned off when you're not using it, use Power-Saver mode on devices that have it, and everything in moderation.

I'm pretty sure most people's ovens and refrigerators each use more energy annually than their gaming devices combined, but if you wanted to cut the power use even further, use rechargable batteries/packs on any device you can, as well.

Okay, I admit it, I just gave serious, no-irony-or-satire response to a Bunz thread, so here, have a silly gif:

Go play Age of Empires on laptop. You don't consume power in the time being. Well, until you have to recharge the laptop for an hour. My educated guess is that the result is 1/10 consumption of power by a PC in the same period of time.

It's okay, Bunbunz.

I average about 8 MPG between my two cars already. Whatever you do, I'll make up for your shortcoming.  ;)

I'm pretty sure a Prius gets better Mpgs than 8.

I have a windmill I rigged up that compensates roughly 25% of my power usage, if I build 4 more I'm getting paid for having them.

It does, but my GT-R and my ML550 don't.  ;)

That's too bad. My gaming burns up a lot of unnecessary electricity which is created by nuclear fission. Without electronic devices, I'd have to leave my house to entertain myself, and living in the Western US, I'd have to burn gas to get anywhere in a timely fashion. So really, I'm helping the environment.

That would definitely be painful and almost certainly fatal. If you feel inclined in that direction, perhaps you should consider a furry convention or stuffed animals?

Meh, it's just the environment. I say we strike back at mother nature for all the cruel things she has done to us instead of trying to appease her. Our future generations are already screwed, so trying to protect the environment won't save them.

So we build massive space stations and nuke the planet from orbit. There, global warming solved.

Yes. Not gaming at all and listening to a nice song, doing a sing along.

This buries Elfman many feet under.

I'm shocked that I had to make this myself, because apparently no one has uploaded that clip.

Mother nature doesn't exist, as Father technology is a myth.

Hey, at least we'll be the ones who know how to run a wasteland on bottle caps and flat 90 degree soda. We will be the ones to lead humanity into the future.
