The "Narnia" bug seems to happen more due to poor connections.

I myself have only been there twice in the ~110 hours I've played DAIMP.

Problems like Black Screen, Crash to Desktop, Marnia, Paralysis, Skill not mapped/display, etc. Are Host Dependent, which is more common when you pug with random people(hmm means the same)

I believe that Dedicate servers could some most of this. Or a group of good Host saved on friend list (like i do) and never play public.

I got sent to Narnia yesterday in a private game... I was the host.

I think it didn't like me being a lvl 1 assassin in threatening.

I have a suspicion that a lot of bugs are due to engine problems and to fix the root causes would need support from DICE and that would waste too many resources for ea to allow it.

You've only played 110 hours? No wonder you didn't feel the game was stale.

There has to be some other reason also, as a player that was experiencing mostly black screens was good only about one in nine for me, while now she gets them each damn game. Also I get black loading screen after "loaded with toons with not drawn weapons" on what looks to be US host, me being EU. Funny thing is that he has this issue when connecting to me also.

It ALMOST looks like they improved low ping P2P while making things worse for anything with high ping. They REALLY need to code forced load regardless, incapable coders that they are, since people get rampant UI`s missing.

It is not your hardware, or your software - it is 100% game`s fault.

I like this sort of gameplay, so my personal playtime has nothing to do with this - rabble rouser.

*EDIT* Looking at Origin, it says 253 hours, but I did also spend a good 80 hours on singleplayer.

I liked the gameplay too. I'd put in about four times the amout you had, and trusr me, it gets stale after that.

I'm not rabble rousing btw. In case you hadn't noticed, I've laid off the criticism, and rightly so.

Any game gets stale after that amount of time.

I don't play Battlefield 4 any longer for example, but then I did put in over 600 hours into that.

I'd really love to test if playing with someone on the other side of the world is really that bad that it justifies the strict ping filtering.

I play many games with people on opposite ends of the world and there maybe a little bit of latency, but I've never had a problem with FPS/TPS and other genres on online MP.

I really love this game but has almost as much bugs as 7 days to die and that's an alpha game...also forgot to mention the never ending loading screen bug right when you join or start a match

The never ending loading screen bug is annoying, but ever since the Dragonslayer DLC, I have experienced a new bug: The absolutely no UI bug but you can play.

Now that is a greater spit to the face: "Hey, now you can play, but you can not really see what is going on so you will die, be useless and feel bad about It!"

Black screen/crashes/no UI/etc. have doubled ever since the DLC.

PS4.

EDIT: Forget ''doubled''. I'll go with trippled.

I think the overall experience has improved greatly.

but still there are so many things not working.

example:
yesterday I put the chain lightning ring on my keeper. but it seems like it does zero.
how is this possible after such a long time.

Well, from past experience, I was having 170 ping to Ohio (that is more or less mid US). I am from Romania, which is really far away.

I have played with various US hosts and it was VERY playable (veramis and some of his friends), to whom I was having just a VERY MINOR rubberbanding, which is undarstandable, considering I was likely having 200 ping on non-server optimized client.

Lately, I simply cannot play with Sukebei, in any configuration - him hosting gives me black screen and no UI, on top of the ocassional heavy rubberbanding, while me hosting gives him the same, which is REALLY questionable, as I haven`t changed my ISP.

If you are not EU based, add me - same Origin name as here and we`ll run some tests.

PC version.

The game has been improved with new functionality but there are still a number of bugs and issues that must be addressed in order to help keep tge current player base. The biggest issuse still is the matchmaking, specifically the quicksearch which now puts me in a lobby on my own when I search for Threatning games

The random game crashes is the worst issue for me now, especially at the dragon fight. And it's not my personal experience, when it happen it happen to all players in current party. I'm talking about Xbox One version of the game, don't know how it's on PC or PS4.

Super Battlefield 4 was hard locking the console and still does for PS3 - and it goes like this: Everything stops - have to get up from armchair - have to keep power button down - hear the angry beeps - system restarts - then we do it all over again in 20 mins.

Funny as a heart-attack, I tell you.
