Admit it you want this movie.

Admit it you want this movie.
i like Power Girl more.
same here. YAH HEAR THAT DC WE WANT THE 6FT TALL POWERLIFTER VERSION. not the affro puff one.
It looks like most of the season packed into that trailer.
I don't like the look of it and don't care much for it.
It's like rom com superheroes
Lately, I've liked Mockingbird/Bobbi from Agents of SHIELD.
Oh yeah, something something Supergirl.
CBS and the CW are owned by the same parent company so it's possible for crossovers to happen.
Edit: There was a planned crossover with Arrow (CW) and Constantine (NBC) before the extra episodes for Constantine were axed. Also, there are still plans in the work to have Constantine do a crossover on Arrow even though Constantine was cancelled (hopefully with Matt Ryan reprising the role).
Mostly I was going by this:

But then I spotted this so, perhaps if the show does well:

I mostly just want to see TV!Flash have a race with a Kryptonian.

pilot episode leaked 6 months early. it emphasizes gender agendas even more than than the trailer did if you can believe that. Could do with less verbal reminders that she has boobs.
See this is the BS i hate i thaught his was the kinds stuff i was going to see inn mad max. thankfully not.
Marvel need to Get Jessics Drew ito a pilot Pronto and nention absolutly ZILCH about her haveing periods.
This is not how you wrire good female characters.
Imay not agree with everything Linkara sais but he is correct when he reviered the Carwoman book.
Her Gender should be the Last thing to be mentioned.
She can Leap tall buildings in a single bound is faster than a speeding bullet and morepowerfull than a locomotive.
Nop this is She has boobs... she gets PMS ... she Dun has Feeewings.
omg http://www.imdb.com/.../?ref_=tt_ov_wr
creator also made arrow, the flash and was born in 1971, so how come the pilot episode looks like it was written by a relatively unintelligent amateur straight out of school???!

well it's not the worst effort of such a show or movie, but when it comes to action/super hero characters the "high" bar for that category is very low.
Because thse days you get hounded off the internet if you displease the SJW fu**tards who wirship the Vagina like a Deity.

alien from another planet has super powers, and yet also boobs???! How can this happen???!.
I think that is not worship. More like the opposite of worship. But that's just me.
its lazy writeing and Pandering while trying to not offend. that winds up becomeing borderlne offencive or simply Eye rolling.
this is why thes shows rarely get a 2nd season. Buffy worked because she had a CHARACTER warts and all she had Charisma she was Lazy had bad hairdays ect she was human.
You best praise that vagina's glory, Darth Su. You PRAISE IT.
Well i DO kneel in front of a woman every so offten and call her my Goddes when she wants me to. dose that count?

Now im pictureing this David Croninberg type creature that is like the Thing that is this Vagina with a eyeball in it.
I think sailor moon was a better series to be honest. It was about the same basic save-the-world kind of thing, but it wasn't pandering, wasn't out to prove a point... on the contrary, it actually embraced the lead characters feminine stereotypes because it saw nothing at all wrong with that, and in the end she still ends up winning with some help from her friends and encouragement from her cat. and all of this world dsaving without putting emphasis on "independent strong woman who don't need no man rawr"
and it at least had a sense of humour too. but i admit i havent even seen the full pilot episode yet.
‘Supergirl’ Pilot Leaked Online; Melissa Benoist Talks About The Costume
And a Forbes' article that contemplates the possibility the leak was deliberate:
'Supergirl' Pilot Leak: Theft Or CBS Marketing Ploy?
Before i click can i get written conscent?
Nah i think it was intentinal this wasnt as hyped as the Flash in my oppinion and in sute uther than tumler the trailer got a lukewarm response.
Kara wasnt as BA as her comic counterpart.
She was Kara in Smalleville. Supergirl connection saved.
Well, Adrianne Palicki was later revealed to be a fake Kara... so it counts, barely?
She was also (Bizarro) Wonder Woman in that unaired pilot, which I wish had been made into a series because it was unintentionally hilarious.
So... I may have watched the pilot... I'm sorry, I'm weak! I just had to know what I'd be getting myself into.
No spoilers, I promise.
The big problem with the pilot is, to my mind, how much they crammed into it. They set up the entire season in one episode and in so doing revealed a lot, too much for my tastes. I mean, you've already seen most of it from the first look, from the get go we know exactly who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. They wasted a perfectly good setup to explore thoroughly during the first half of the season. For instance, have Kara get into her Supergirl persona a bit more before revealing this MIB organization; then have a few more episodes where we slowly unveil who the main villain is in the mid-season finale. The pilot gives you everything right off the bat and it's a problem.
Remember how Kara immediately reveals her true identity to that one guy at work? Why would she even do that? There wasn't enough (at all) build up of their relationship to establish that they're such good friends that Kara would eventually confide in him. To the pilot's credit, I did find the relationship with her sister much more believable. Having said that, Alex did utter probably the worst line in the entire episode:
So, yeah, the pilot does remind you that Supergirl is a girl... um, okay, what for? Why do I care? If you have a solid story with interesting characters, why would I care that the main protagonist is a girl? Please, CBS, try and have more faith than that!
Where should this season go from here? I'd suggest bringing down the pace a notch or two and invest some time in developing the characters. Kara is also in dire need of a mentor and from what I saw in the pilot there's a very promising candidate (and I mean other than the Man of Steel himself) who screams narrative possibilities.
As to the potential for a crossover with Arrow or Flash I'd say it's zero and this was back when I watched the first look. I mean, if Supergirl is contemporary to Oliver and Barry then why haven't these shows ever mentioned that, oh, I don't know, F***ING SUPERMAN has been around for a while now saving people?!?! Am I to assume Batman's also doing his thing in Gotham? How am I to believe that Oliver and Barry put together the League-That-Cannot-Be-Named-Justice-League and forget (at the very least) two thirds of the Holy Trinity?!
