Don't you think that's a necessary part of being a 'real woman'? Being desired, being alluring? Being courted? Having your 'femininity' valued and appreciated and loved?
In this case, what's "necessary" is really just a matter of perspective.

Yeah, I'm done with you.
I think trans women should definitely have the opportunity to be the leading lady. The fact that you don't want to kiss them is completely ****** irrelevant.

I'm more than just an object to be ogled at because I was born with a vagina and because "boobs", thank you very much.
That being said, I've seen many real women who are transgendered be twice the woman I could ever be.
It says there's something wrong with a society that denies them this.
Ugh, I said I was done...
It's monumentally relevant. I don't want to spend my limited time and attention on a romantic story with characters I find repulsive. Nor with a narrator whom is trying to sell me something I'm not buying.
I don't really see why it matters. In all likelihood, whatever game that offers this would no doubt allow you to opt out of such content altogether. If there was a trans leading role, very likely you'd have the option of just using a character whose gender and biological sex align anyhow, and just the same allow you to choose a companion of the same stripe. People find all sorts of characters unappealing or even repulsive (some people find Isabela repulsive. Imagine that). It doesn't matter, because there's no real accounting for an individual's personal taste.

That doesn't mean that devs shouldn't do it, every LI has people who aren't attracted to that LI and that's just normal since people are different. If that happens you can chose to romance another character or not to do romances, easy like that.

People don't have a right to want what they want? They're obligated to find, in this particular case, transgendered people alluring?
Even if that was true, which it isn't, it would only make it okay to feature, in this particular case, transgendered people as romances in games where romance is chosen by the player.
Which is less than 1% of fiction. Far less.
That would mean that in regular fiction, where the audience has no choice, they're back to being excluded?
Umm of cource not? In those fictions transgenders can be leading characters without there being choice.

So let me get this straight: Every main character of a work of fiction that you enjoy needs to have a love interest you would personally want to be with sexually? Even though the love interest is the main character's love interest, not yours?

I found this thread hilarious, also Ironic that bunch of dudes which have naked mans in their avatar will ****** so much about this...
What am i reading? My eyes are bleeding. No rhyme intended. Not saying that Triss is not attractive, but her personality is fairly bland compared to Cassandra. On top of that Cassandra is beautiful, smart, strong, romantic and has a rich and engaging story. People are way to concerned with oogling instead of learning about personalities, even in games. I need a shower after that thread, i can't believe i am sharing a hobby with people like that.

But they aren't.
The audience won't accept it. They won't accept such a character as the beautiful princess.

I...
what is...
Echh....
You know there's at least 6999999999 more people on this planet than you, right?
Not every story has a romantic plot with a princess. And they shouldn't.But they aren't.
The audience won't accept it. They won't accept such a character as the beautiful princess.
It has little to do with love interests.
Fiction is full of beautiful people whether they're love interests or not. Advertisements are full of beautiful people. Something as simple as encyclopedia articles nearly always select pictures of people very significantly more attractive than average.
So we should ban Steve Buscemi from acting? That'd be a tragedy.
I would am I not the "audience "But they aren't.

Close-minded groups that dislike different minorites shouldn't be allowed to affect media that much that there is no transgender characters.
EDIT: double post for some reason..
So I guess I will just post some transgender characters here since it's on original topic ![]()

Hope to see her in future games too, though it was nice to get wartable mission about her too ^^

Sadly I don't have more transgender characters in video games.. we need more ![]()

Sooo your argument is basically that leading roles should only be occupied by people you find appealing/physically attractive? That's not a terribly compelling one.
Guys, everyone knows that to be heroic one must be attractive, and to be attractive one must conform to beauty standards decided upon by the current heads of the advertising industry

But what is beautiful to some are not always to others. So who gets to define what is beautiful? I am glad that they went away from the obvious sex appeal they pushed in Dragon Age II, it was honestly tiresome. We needed grounded characters with values and realistic looks. Not every game can be The Witcher that spreads women and their legs around way to obviously. Luckily its optional.
