Huh? Same concept as Wolverine. A ton of people like him. Why do you think he has his own video game? There is also talk of a movie that Ryan Reynolds is going to come back and do like the Wolverine Origins role. 2016 movie supposedly "Deadpool movie"
And of course the biggest piece of evidence of all. Babypuncher being based.
Wolverine and Deadpool are quite different as characters though. Only similarity is that they have healing factor since Deadpool was experiemented with Wolverines DNA, though his healing factor is much stronger. There is not really other similarities.. well okay they are both Canadian too, but other than that ^^
DP is popular character so he has video game, lot of Marvel characters have. Also there is not talk about movie, they have been filming it couple months. But it's nothing like Wolverine Origins role cause that was just wtf character-wise, he didn't even have scars ![]()

Less Wolvie, moar X-23.
I agree, though I like Wolverine. It's just that we saw him a lot (and his solo movies weren't that good, in my opinion).

Oh yeah, I like Wolverine just fine. I just like his kids better!
On topic... ehh... anybody remember that time Logan made out with Hercules?

I think this was the fuel that lead to them killing him off.

Considering that they killed Deadpool too, and the F4 run ending, I think it's more related to the problems between Marvel and Fox.

Like the Pietro and Wanda aren't actually Magneto's kids thing?
I'm still salty about that.

While this is entirely possible I just took that way because they've killed them 3 different ways recently.....I kinda felt like they were saying "and stay down!" haha.

I don't know if that Was a problem for Marvel. As far as I know they never asked, or planned to make them Magneto's (and as much as I'd have loved, it'd have opened a lot of problems with the mutants absolute absence in the MCU). The fact that Fox decided to use QuickSilver in DoFP after Marvel decided to introduce the Twins wasn't welcomed by Marvel though.Like the Pietro and Wanda aren't actually Magneto's kids thing?
I'm still salty about that.
The major problem between them is the F4 rights. I wonder what will happen if the next F4 movie will be a flop.

I'm fine with the twins not being Magneto's kids in the MCU (there are no mutants, and thus no Magneto) but they retconned it in the comics as well. That's just petty and stupid. I mean, I know it was a retcon in the first place, but it was a good one that added depth to all the characters involved!
(Mind you, I only heard about this 'twist' second hand. I'm not reading any X-books until they bring Charles back from the dead again, and that may not happen while Fox have the film rights.)

What bothers me is that they retconned the comics. Which, yeah, them being his kids was a retcon in the first place... but I liked the retcon before they retconned the retcon.
Lmao.

I can forgive this in the Avengers, since Disney/Marvel can't use any X-Men stuff to begin with. Heck, because of Universal's hold over rights to Hulk movies, Ruffalo's Hulk will likely never get a standalone picture either.

I don't even know what's going on anymore
When in doubt and on the Bioware forum attack who someone chooses to have sex with or a character that they feel relates to them. You can't go wrong.

Deadpool is at least somehow on topic, being popular and not beatiful LGBT+ character who proves that character can be loved regardless of their looks or being part of minority ![]()
On the topic.. I hope Bioware continues on same route with introducing different and intresting characters. Though I hope for next trans character the dialogue goes little more naturally, I think asking about Krem's gender was so out of place and weird, I'd like the topic come up more naturally like being part of his backstory ("Krem why did you leave Tevinter?" "I had to because I joined to army as man, but Tevinter doesn't accept trans people so they think I committed crime lying about my sex etc.". And there conversation could go on).

Deadpool is always on topic. Especially when someone is insisting that ugly people shouldn't be in stories because nobody wants to hear about them.

Bringing up a character who's ugly and a main character as an example of unattractive characters being able to work as main characters just as well as beautiful ones doesn't actually work when said ugly character spends most of his time under a mask, you know.
Not that I agree with the notion that unattractive -I wrote several posts on why beauty isn't objective anyway- characters shouldn't be mc, but Deadpool really is a bad example to support your cause.

You so wrong on so many levels. Tevinter don't accept people without magic. Maevaris Tilani is magister. And i think you know what magister is.

Well... Wolverine looked like a super short hairy grizzly dwarf man when he first appeared. That's not conventionally attractive.

I think that Humphrey Bogart is actually a good example. The man isn't what I'd consider your typically handsome guy, but he was able to effectively play the protagonist.

They for some reason don't accept Krem being trans and in army. Though the point was makin Krem being trans party of dialogue more naturally so it doesn't matter. You so wrong on so many levels. Tevinter don't accept people without magic. Maevaris Tilani is magister. And i think you know what magister is.

Maevaris wasn't exactly pleased when Varric saw her without her dress, exposing her still quite masculine body, so I think she was hiding her transgender aspect? Perhaps if she was discovered to be trans, she wouldn't be a magister anymore.

Pfff, if Bioware doesn't change the current model of how they're tackling trans characters, I'm going to accidentally offend/hurt a person who's transgender, curiosity kills the cat and all that. I always want to ask questions about these sorts of things, partially because I'm interested and partially because I want to understand them better, so I took Bioware's bait and asked the really offensive questions to Krem. Gosh, I felt bad! It doesn't help that the descriptions of the questions you're about to ask often differ from what your character says.
I wish the topic of transgender was part of the standard/obligatory to be taught in schools. I was taught about homosexuality, so why not transgender? Could've helped me have my Inquisitor NOT be an ass towards Krem lol
