I recently just tried playing this game again since launch, was waiting for better PC controls but looks like its not getting improved as I hoped so just had to put up with them. I got just past the ball and just lost interest in the game.

Combat is too boring, everything thing gets knocked back and I'm just having to constantly moving around spamming attack like some action game, I found nearly all the too easy but if I turn difficultly up the lack of being able to tactics like the previous games just makes it a pain to play as I either have to put up with AI casting stuff by themselves at the wrong time/target or have to constantly be pausing every few seconds to give them instructions on what to do.

The zones are pretty much pointless as they don't really connect to the main story and I just feel "why I am here?" when exploring them. The main quests/inner circle quests that involve these zones are just go to this random location watch a scene and maybe a fight then talk back at skyhold, no real reason why your in that zone at all.

I can't get myself to finish the game because its just not that enjoyable to play, I would like to see what happens in the story which has been alright so far but the game is just too much of a chore to play to make me want to see it. I would just start up the game get to a zone and think I can't be arsed with this after a few minutes stop playing.

These points have probably been discussed all ready but I've not had a real go at the game yet so would have missed it and sorry if its a bit negative!

Lucky you skipped most of the patches -it's been a painful process of functional vs nonfunctional "flip of the coin" game with every update or patch.  Your point is quite valid, PC controls are still problemattic along with many random problems that crop up from time to time.  Has it improved?  Yes, but it has so far to go.

Hi, I played DAI for more than 200 hours (it's a bit sick;) ),it's my favourite franchise (sorry if I make mistakes,my English is getting a little rusty) and I really want to write my thoughts on the game as well, hope someone read it a little. First, I love this game, it's one of my favourites, but I enjoyed Origins better despite there were so fewer things in it

I'm not entirely sure why is that, maybe you guys can help me see it clearly. I think I had more connection with my party members in Origins, I also could somehow feel the story and immerse in the world more. In spite of more almost everything what's nice in DAI (many better things like customization-I think  I spent half of the game making armor and stuff;)loved it ) the game felt more distant....even characters were to be seen from bigger distance. There were more party members but I found myself care less about them than in DAO or DA2.

There were also few very fun-destroying issues like being unable to pause cutscenes (!!!) or disseapearing characters, huge stuttering despite meeting system requirements, and finally PC conrols-no auto-attack which make for me at least too irritating to play as someone else than mage or archer...:/

So I hope someday we'll see next DA which will be even better than Inquisition+DAO and would mix the best things in these (in my opinion) best games ever. Bioware do happen to improve most of their great work as we saw comparing DA2 and DAInq
