I'm with you on it. Though it's not really a beer belly. The stomach is pretty much flat. It's like love handles. That's what makes it so hilariously weird. The Inquisitor looks like someone who was really in shape who just cut back on the work out long enough to add some points without really totally getting out of shape.

I'm trying to figure out if I know what you mean. I haven't seen much of the male Quizzy, but when my female human does judgements, she completely slouches (regardless of dialogue) and her stomach just looks... really weird. Like, a little bit pregnant? I don't know, but it was really noticeable. If you mean just while walking around, I don't know. As an aside: I think it's pretty odd that you pretty much have to look like you never take judgements seriously, partly because of the slouching and partly because of the outfit.

"Hey guys, I just woke up. Who am I judging again? Thanks Josephine. Blah blah, let the Wardens have you. Oh, this isn't about them? Gibbet!"

I prefer the black t-shirt/dog tag mod myself.   ;)

As far as the running animation, I don't play delicate characters, insomuch that I don't play a lot of biotics/mage type classes.  I do play a lot of rogue/infiltrator types.  That gorilla-stomp did not work for me on a more sneaky character.  I might try it again some other time.

Wouldn't that be a mod though? I love the hoodie and wear it in real life and I like how it made her shape a bit more ambiguous. I'd love something similar in DA:I and wearing armour would solve that problem. I played a soldier, but to be honest I don't remember the animations well enough.

A random tidbit but did you know if you lif your knees above your hips when you sit down, it should force you back to correct its posture? I know that is somewhat unrelated

I must be doing it wrong. All I managed to do was curl up in the fetal position :P

I would have to agree with the thread starter.

Being able to make totally different characters, and of course modify there look some as you play ( Because I have never made a characters face right the first time, and I just love games that give me a console command that allows me to tweak at that face until I get it right.)

Also I love having many Options on clothing appearance, and appearance that is risque, and appearance that is prudish, and some that is in between.

Is to late now for this one, but maybe in future games, someone will consider these things.

Definitely agree with what you're saying about including clothing that is both risque and modest. The little touches that help differentiate characters. I don't see anything wrong with having the ability to play a character that's more akin to Isabela or Aveline, both of whom struck me as characters with agency, despite their differences in apparel. Hope that can be included in future titles.

Wide and varied character customization (and voice selection) was one of the most successful and popular features of Neverwinter Nights, a game that garnered a very large and loyal customer base for a LONG time.  I like bioware's stuff.  The storylines are compelling and the acting is splendid, but they consistantly do one thing over and over.  They drop what ever made people happy in their previous games, the things that worked best and were appreciated most.

NWN was able to be modded.  It was Skyrim before there was a skyrim.

NWN had race selection.  (Something to think about for ME4?) Makes additional playthroughs way more interesting.

NWN allowed players to make playable modules to continue the game experience.

NWN wasn't Server-DRM dependant.  So if a thunderstorm knocks out your internet you can still play instead of just cursing bioware for an afternoon.

1. Holy necromancy, Batman!

2. BioWare didn't make Neverwinter Nights 2, only the first game. The sequel was Obsidian.

If we actually had the hair from DA2/DA:O, we would not only have much better styles, but we could actually make Hawke look like Hawke!

I'm with you on that one. If you brang back a a character from a previous game, give us a chance to make them look like they did back then.

... well, I mean they could have gotten another hairstyle within the decade that passed, so that I can almost accept.

But image the horror when I went into the tattoo section for my Hawke...

Yup, she sure did get a laser treatment and some new ink in those 10 years.
