I woke up, had a shower and got ready for school, only for me to actually wake up. That was a weird dream. It felt so real.
Psychedelic dreams we all do but rarely confess

Did it really?
If you notice in dreams you have tunnel vision. Whatever you are not looking at does not exist. Of course, when we wake up our brains will instantly fill in all of those details, or more correctly, it will fill in details that will make the scene make sense.

Hate to admit I've had a lot of bad dreams in my life, so whenever I wanted to get out of one, I'd just jump into a flip and land on my head, then most of the time I would wake up. Edgy, yet effective for me.

i had a nightmare that David, aka the Messiah of Heroism and Universal balance, was very popular online outside of BSN and took the World by Storm and it was nightmarish how people loved him so

But, one thing of note, my brain doesn't seem to understand bathrooms much, whenever one makes an appearance, it's never right. One pretty notable example is that it was about the size of a convention hall and the urinals were hanging by in pairs from the ceiling by pipes, at least they might have been attached to the ceiling, I couldn't see it and I never looked up.
And that was only part of the dream for about 3 minutes.
And if I remember right, I wasn't even male in that dream.

Indeed. This is the phenomena which has cued me into realizing I am dreaming (lucidity) the very few (4 or 5) times I have had a lucid dream. SO weird & unsettling, despite being kinda fun. I always question reality for a moment upon waking

I just woke up from a 2 hour power nap and had the weirdest dream.
There was this group of buildings that were fairly close together and there were a bunch of us BSNers there.
And a tyrannosaurus rex..
Not even sure how it even started but Ruggles was there along with Fiddles, Recon, Crusty, Garryy, Dobby, Despair Demon and some others that I can't remember atm. Trying to type it out while it's fresh in my mind.
Anyway, we all had our own building that we were using as bases and Recon's was freakin impressive; had german shepherds, magnetic elevator, lasers, and motion detectors. Everyone else had the norm; watch towers, radar, armories, shite like that.
There was also these group of strangers and all they did was moan about how they don't have the skill to build up their bases thus we decided to sneak in their bases and loot their shite. Some of us started out on the complainers' roof tops, repelled down and went through the windows. Others used military tactics while on the ground, entering through back doors.
With the whiners gone, we built up our bases even more and then just chilled.
Then mister t-rex came along, destroying other structures while screaming that damnable roar that you hear in every other dino documentary or movie.
Slabs of concrete were collapsing down, mixing in with the screams. Dobby was hiding out in the trees, observing the rex without any regard to us.
My bunker was ordinary from the out and inside, but I dug and created an underground bunker and tunnels that connected to other bases thus making it easier to access anyone's base. Once I saw other buildings crashing into the ground and on top of people, I dipped into my underground bunker and traveled to base to base, rounding you crackas up and I was taking them to Recon's base.
We all piled in the magnetic elevator.
Going up.
Elevator jolts to a stop.
Lights flicker out.
Everyone goes quiet.
*BANG BANG BANG*
Metal screeching apart.
Dead silence.
Then screams in the dark.
>mrw I woke up

Last night I dreamed that Samsung monitors aren't good and I didn't know what to suggest as a good monitor.
It was quite disturbing and psychedelic.
Actually someone died in my dream and there was large and long and different kinds of ceremonies too.

One way to tell if you are dreaming is to try and read something, like words or a clock. The part of your brain devoted to recognizing alphanumeric characters is deactivated when you sleep.Indeed. This is the phenomena which has cued me into realizing I am dreaming (lucidity) the very few (4 or 5) times I have had a lucid dream. SO weird & unsettling, despite being kinda fun. I always question reality for a moment upon waking
That being said, there is a caveat - you can often look at a book and know what it says, or glance at a clock and know what time it is... you MUST focus on reading the actual characters. All too often the narrative scope of our dreams give us such information without actually going through the process of actually doing the reading. Just like we'd see on a story "John Smith looked in the book and realized exactly who the killer was," our narrative-craving brains do the same thing without actually having us read the words themselves.
The hardest part about lucid dreaming isn't realizing your dreaming, of course. It is fighting off the brain's natural tendency to wake up as soon as you realize this fact. A feat which research has shown is easier for people who meditate daily.

I'll go ahead with mine. To give some background, my dad died about four years back now. And growing up, whenever a relative or someone we knew died, at the funeral someone would invariably say the recently deceased would be "watching down" on them through their life.
My dad would always talk to my sister and I about that - saying he didn't believe that. He believed in an after life of peace and happiness and he couldn't believe that would include looking down on the people you left behind going through the pain and suffering of life.
Any way, about a year or so after he died, I had a dream I was camping with some friends (I say friends, but I don't know who they are in real life). And somewhat out of nowhere, my dad shows up. We are both really surprised by this and we excitedly begin talking to each other, but I only know that I hadn't seen my dad in a while. The whole time he looks really confused, like he didn't understand what was happening, but I start talking about all the things that had been happening in my life since we last talked.
And then I started telling him about my daughter, saying how he would love her and had to meet her soon. And then I stop, unable to think why my dad wouldn't have ever met his granddaughter. And we both locked eyes and said "because you're/I'm dead." It was a really harrowing experience. My dad just got this sad, pained look on his face and said he didn't belong here. We gave each other a hug and then the dream ended. I haven't dreamed of him since.

I don't really remember my dreams anymore, but I can still vividly remember a dream I had in the 5th grade where I got to make out with my crush. It was weird as fk, because I was listening to D12's purple pills all day before I went to bed. I was really bad at picking three or four songs and just listening to them over and over when I was younger. Anyways my dream is some purple, yellow, and blue version of my grandfather's field and we just start making out by a corral. Then randomly some purple grizzly bear jumps out of the woods, and my 'pet' fox that ran off like a year ago rescues us (fox and the hound style). After that we're walking back to my grandparents' house. All the sudden it starts snowing and we end up stuck in a blizzard and make out in the dead bear's cave. The bear is already skinned somehow and is a comfy rug. Alarm goes off before things start getting good. Kept trying to continue my dream over the next few days, and I never remember what happen's next or I dream of something else for some reason.
I have no idea why this of all dreams I can recall with such detail. Why can't I remember the dreams of Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Alba of my high school days.
