Why would a thing that was never announced now be cancelled? If anything, I'm expecting it will be announced at E3 and released this November (N7 day), with ME4 launching in 2016.

Why would Aaron Flynn poll fans asking for feedback on the remastered version, then change his mind? Perhaps it is in the works.
Other companies have done similar things. Want suggestions for [product x] because in a few years [product x] will be released.

Perhaps they were thinking about doing it, but came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be worth the effort, and the impact on their other projects. Or maybe they're going to announce it at E3.

I think at most it was something they said they were thinking about, never any confirmation they were ever going to actually release one. I am pretty sure they wanted to see interest, but at the same time I wonder with all the things people wanted to see included might have also made them wonder if they were to bother.

I think they should include all the DLC, if they do decide to make it. The reason I asked is because I never heard anything else about it. I guess E3 is coming up, so there's that.
