Just to show how ridiculous the archer is, here's a video of me getting hit for 1800 damage from 1 archer on perilous.
Why is it that I can only just survive an assassins sync move but I can't survive 1 arrow from a red templar archer.
Biowar pls.

There are no sync moves
Reaver naturally has +consitituion for melee defense
Your cunning / ranged defense must be low, AND you triggered their high damage attack by lowering their health below a % threshold without killing them. That attack can be avoided by
A) incapacitating them
killing them before they complete their animation
C) Combination of A & B
D) Not damaging them until any of the above
On that last archer you over-extended your reach. Should've gotten closer and / or gotten panic first. Once that first strike didn't finish him, you should've combat rolled out of there.
That attack is completely avoidable. I don't think that attack should be nerfed, but that's up to BW.
brutal. although combat roll sucks off host, that is a great example of where it can come in handy.
I vote they add something like this to the footsoldiers as well. They are the enemies that need some help in close range lethality

TBH it was terrible positioning to begin with. Fighting out in the open with lots of enemy archer crossfire with the team spread out (ripe to be killed) and low on health. Poor decisions were made throughout.
If anything the player deserves to be punished with that 1.8k ranged shot in this situation, as a wake up call to the fade, this is perilous!

You mean like when they block everything you've got, pinning you in, and the archers / spellcasters behind them wail on you? Or when the terrors / shield-bearers charge in and knock you down, trolling you. . . or stalkers / shadows slicing you up from stealth?
Now don't blame the player.
If someone plays on perilous without thinking and fails the logical consequence is that perilous should be nerfed for all players and NOT that the one players should improve his or her playstyle.

So long as the archer doesn't hit for over 9k damage, we're good.

I said sync moves as it is an assassination. We mostly moved together during this game as we had a virtuoso throwing barrier, my cunning is 57 so not too low, although that's considered low compared to your ridiculous stats. This video was just to show the damage of one archer shot.

Regardless, sync moves are defined by guaranteed death bypassing health (outside of ME3 specific cheese) during an specific condition set triggering an animation. There are no sync kills in DAIMP, just some very high burst damage -- though nothing untankable. i.e. you can die with full health + shields in ME3 sync kills, but you will not in DAMP.
You can also be assassinated by turrets in ME3 too (one of my least favorite ways to die), but these are not sync kills.

Actually, I have gone down despite having barriers up in some instances (latency issue I suppose). My wife also has gone down with guard up, so yeah...fun times.
UWANTSUM BOULI?
Can eating a full Thousand Cuts kill you through barrier without resists?
Ask Heroic what happened to the last guy who tried to thunderdome me
I welcome the fade with open arms

is that why you 6 glitched all of your charaters in Mass Effect? Your profile is public.
It hardly ever failed on the ME forums that someone boasting about how wonderful they are at the game was a cheater. Guess that still carries over to DA
I really wish you would change your attitude on the forums from l2p noob to helpful. It would only benefit the community and people's willingness to accept help from you.
Loooooooooooooool Drasca just got rektis that why you 6 glitched all of your charaters in Mass Effect? Your profile is public.
