On the nose dialogue in ME Next?

It will make the story A LOT better without all of the sappy dialogue that has been apart of the trilogy, the new game could be something much more meaningful.

In other words, the writers need to step it up when it comes to character dialogue.

What I'd like is less....lame or awkward conversations, kind of:

A: Hey, man, what's going on? Bad weather today, huh?

B: Yeah, man, a terrible one.

A: Yeah. Errr.....(awkward silence).

B: (Awkward silence).

....especially in ME3. You could say the time Shepard's squad has spent with him would give room for a bit more familiarity, anecdote telling, etc. Instead they still mainly behave like if it's the first time you have found them in an elevator, and you fail to try some small talk with them.

If they're going for a cinematic experience like in ME3 they its fine. I'd rather have less but more meaningful dialogue choices then being interrupted every 5 seconds with a dialogue wheel.

And I'd like to know at least something about what the character is going to say. A two word paraphrase does not cut it.

I miss the witty repartee from games like KOTOR.   Some of the lines Revan spouted in that game were legendary.  They need to go back to that.

For some reason, you reminded me of this skit. Might not be totally relevant. :D
