I've been enjoying a similar but slightly different quick strike build:
Itwa Explosion for first strike
Gaatlok for flow (like yours)
Barrier for finishing
Asaari Leap for mobility
Mix in storm pact/hakkon for a real "bug zapping" build. Only dilemma is dealing with lightning immune mobs in NM+ but you can mix up the existing skills to do some damage or keep teammates alive while they deal with the threats.

I tried something like that... I was just not sold on the Barrier for the Saarebas... There were so many other ways to boost the team and Saar-Taar felt a less flexible.
Honestly, though, the Saarebas is one of the few classes where I didn't feel like I *had* to have any specific abilities. Sure, Asaara's Leap is close, but I tested several builds without it and they worked fine. It definitely made choices more difficult lol.

Say what..... No barrier on Saarabadass?
Speed run Any difficulty with a barrier Saarabas in the team... Also make her full support with glyphs, rings and one offensive spell being athlok with inferno pact belt and heart of pride run with the melee and you're pretty much the best defensive shield, crowd control, nuke and barrier class in the game.
However I see these offensive types being used in routine and threatening but a saarabas in NM and HB without barrier is a waste of space imho.

As I said, Saar-Taar was just a bit too inflexible to me. I essentially *had* to relegate my Finishing stance to it every time, and the Opening and Flow of Saar-Taar were not very useful (personal barrier lost out to Asaara's Leap almost every time). I do, however, love the Glyphs and Rings. I originally wanted to use both in the build, but also wanted Gaatlok Blast and Asaara's Leap with some other passives. In the end it came down to choosing between the Glyphs and Rings, and Glyphs won because it's very easy to use and doesn't wear off unless you die.
