[Terminator Force]

Goddess barely gets any chit chat. No hate chat, nor love chat. So lets chat about Goddess for once.

 

I think Goddess is a great map. Top 3 for me (Ghost, Condor, and Goddess). At first I wasn't too crazy for this map because in my young pug days I found it to be a bit too much on the too difficult side. Course many hours later, and difficulty is a none issue for affecting map love. Thus I fell head over heals for Goddess eventually. She's a beaut. Just the right cup size too. And never a dull day playing this map.

The hack circles in the LZ and opposite the LZ on Jade are almost as bad as the London hacks

 

two hack circles in the main hall suck on Goddess (more so than the toughest ones on most maps)

My only regret with Goddess is that, whenever she shows up due to mercy of RNG(which isn't nearly as often as I'd like) I always pick that exact same match to play something other than an asari kit.

 

Still, I have fond memories of taking Valkyrie into one of my first UUGs and getting Cerberus/Goddess and proceeded to annihilate them And there was that time when me and Stephen preset Goddess/Reapers and got two more asari pugs. The amount of pain the Reapers received that day was glorious to behold.

Race theme matches are the best reason to preselect maps

 

All Asari on Goddess and all Krogan on Giant are particularily fun

 

if Biovar had given us more Salarians or a Rannoch map......

I like Goddess. In the beginning I hated it because small maps meant I had to kill fast. Once I figured out how to do that it became one of my favorites, outside of the frame problems it causes sometimes, and devices & hacks which can be painful. Even all that considered, it's a fun map to play.

But yeah, I noticed this technical issue too on 360. But it's mostly noticeable on Platinum.

Goddess is a good map. Mid-tier in terms of difficulty but it's got some genuinely difficult objectives (hacks, mostly).

 

I like the aesthetics too.

Hmm, it's weird that you look at this matter so lightly. To me certain maps put me in instant great mood, while others just make me want to quite ME3mp all together. So well designed maps are very important for replay value to me.

Not as may as Rio (3 boxes giving 3 nades). So no map has as many as Rio. On Goddess there in one box with only one nade, while the others two per box.

3 nades for 3 ammo boxes, 2 nades for 3 ammo boxes, and 1 nade for the 2 center ammo boxes for Rio. So the total is 8 ammo boxes.

 

Some maps just make me feel like I'm not having a good time. And if I'm not having fun, why bother playing. Do I need to explain this? Plus this is more crucial after a certain amount of hours into this game. So yes, I'm going to have favourites and non-favourites based on replay value. This wasn't an issue when this game was still super fresh to me.

 

EDIT - it also doesn't mean I bail out of every map I don't like, just means that if I run into such a map too often, I'm bailing before I lose the urge to continue playing altogether.

Goddess rivals Reactor for most retarded spawns and London for most retarded objective placements. That said, I still like playing on Goddess with fast grenade characters for self explanatory reasons.

Yeah, I'm not crazy for Reactor either. But for Goddess the map isn't that big for spawns to be a serious issue as on Rio.
