Posted: 2013-06-07It always saddens me to see a site where moderation is lazy, comprised of mouthbreathers who'll do what's easy and cathartic for them, rather than doing what's right. In other words, if you have someone speaking out in favour of a game a developer has developed and that's an unpopular opinion, you'll have the wrath of the moderators brought down upon you. This makes the people who play games hate the company in question, because of the mouthbreathing moderators who created this situation.
BioWare doesn't do itself any favour by allowing such mouthbreathing moderators to actually remove fans who have positive things to say, in favour of angry Neanderthals who spew hateful vitriol about their products. It makes BioWare look far too much like they have an S&M fetish, from an outside perspective. Like they want to be hated by everyone. Hey, let's have those mouthbreathing moderators ban the few people who have something good left to say, that'll make people hate us less!Eventually, thanks to this poor moderation, BioWare is going to end up with few fans at all. Good job, mouthbreathers. You're a credit to the company you work for. You're like the carnies of the Internet, all about doing what's lazy and easy, for self-gratiifcation, and never about doing what's RIGHT. I'm out.

The amazing thing is that it is even on the main menu screen and you see it every time you boot up the game!
I could never play the 2nd mass effect on my pc because there is no 'any' key. There are things like ctrl and alt and such but no 'any' What does that mean in english btw as it is not my native tongue??? Help pls!!!!

I'm surprised I haven't seen this thread yet. I'm one of David's biggest "fans" who was regularly referred to in the 'The Clique' of BSN users who ganged up on him whenever he was on. I was also referred to multiple times as David's arch-nemesis, which I find weird: everyone was David's arch-nemesis. The only way he would like you or respect you is if your views were utterly and completely in line with his. Otherwise, you were a fool who was wasting his time (on a public forum no-less) and didn't have the credibility to voice their own opinion to BW.

It's true in that the mods were pretty negligent, but not for the reasons Wulf thought or wanted.
He was right about the conclusion for the wrong reasons. He wanted BW to ban destroyers and anyone who disagreed with his views. He was pretty vocal about it as I remember.
So many contributions I can find for David. He was a legend.

He knew more about military training and tactics than professionals who have been doing it for years (in my case, close to a decade). He knew everything. He had to be better at everything than anyone. And he had the right to be indignant, condescending, and dismissive if he wanted to be. Early on in his run, before the mods started keeping track of him, he publicly expressed that he deserved more rights and better treatment on the BSN than others because "I shouldn't be punished for telling the truth."
Then the mods protected him for a bit. I suspect it was because they found him too hilarious to see what he would say next. I know more than one rumor flying around that the dude had some kind of autism.
And he's here now, again, as BabyPuncher. Over in the DA forums (he FINALLY played through the series), and he does hate it. Indeed. His ego, his pride, is legendary. And he had a very... Randian style of scoffing and condescension that was so irritating, yet so hilarious when you finally saw what he was.
He was so, so sure of himself. Everyone disagreed with him, and he'd still be right, because he was David. He couldn't fathom a world-view where he wasn't not right at something, everything. And he would get so angry when someone proved him otherwise. As I recall, he got banned once because he left a scathing message to one of the BW members who more or less debunked his perspective and values in a game.
I believe the subsequent thread got nuked.
