Ok, I will be starting a tactics guide for Nightmare, where I switch mechanics up in my nightmare playthrough to pass them with ease. Note: when you play nightmare, you can't play one character ONLY, you must use all your characters, so at no point will I use the word "main character", because you will be playing whoever depending on the situation

First Things First:
You need to set up your follower mechanics to ensure this is possible. All these tactics/guides that I did and achieved followed this set-up, a "foundation" if you will.

Go to your tank make sure he is following your squishest character, and have your squishest character follow your tank. The reason for this is because when your tank attacks, your squishest character will be attacking whoever you're tank is getting attacked by, and if your squishest character is getting attacked you're tank will protect him. and put you're 2nd most tackiest character to follow your tank and the your 3rd most takenst character to follow you're 2nd rankest. the reason for this is because when your tank dies, ur 3rd rankest won't go crazy, he will follow ur 2nd, this makes it so much easier to escape situations where you're tank dies, and it makes orders so much easier

In your abilities section, make sure you choose the abilities that are used the less to be preferred, this actually makes your actual preferred abilities to be used more, the reason why is AI uses the preferred abilities in situations before they are useful i.e. before the enemies are in range thus the only abilities left for the ai to use is the ones you actually need  if you think about it 7 abilities that are used when they are useless  is much worse than one ability when used correctly.

the first boss

this is actually very simple, the most common mistake people make is splitting you're characters up, DO NOT DO THIS.

As soon as the fight starts: set ur guys up in this formation at the left corner:

x: main character (for rift) y (tank) z: other characters:

|
|
|
|  y
|z   zx
The reason for the gap is to stop the demons whip for hurting other characters, and the reason for close proximity is to quickly revive your characters. youre main character is set up to the outside so he easily disrupt the rift.

and thats it for the first boss, it is very simple. I will update this as I develop new tactics and starts, and do new bosses
