You're right. He deserves better than that.
The only thing he deserves is to work on Kenect games...

Fixed.
You didn't.
I am gonna laugh so hard if Hudson ends up creating a new game that captures the mass effect 1 magic and surpasses dragon age inquisition and halo in terms of quality and fun. Just like, "Ya'll sons-a-bitches thought I couldn't write good stuff, didn't ya?"
If it does happen, than congratulations we get a new good game. If it doesn't, it's still a funny thought to kick around.
I would much rather have Mass 1 and Mass 2 and forget Mass 3 ever happened.
I SINCERELY hope to GOD AND ALL THINGS GAMING that Casey learned something from Mass 3 and won't ever do something so...
Man I still want my money back.
wish him the best.
It's okay. Hug it out, Prince.
*Hugs Jimmah, uses his shirt to wipe snot from nose while crying*

Why even invest in the series as a gamer if you know how it might end given ME3?
Here, point out on this doll where the terrible endings touched you.
*points at brain and heart, still crying*
Given that Casey Hudson's a amateur pilot, I'd like to entertain the notion that he's working on the next MS Flight Simulator.
A man can dream, right?
Pre-order cancelled.

FTFY.

But ME3 had a great ending.
Good for him.
Also it has been three years and it was just a video game to begin with...

But ME3 had a great ending.
"Great" might be too strong a word.
To make Halo a fabulous franchise...
As if Halo 4 wasn't already too much like Mass Effect in all the bad ways...
I am hoping he stays far away from the Gears of War series.
Are we not aware that Microsoft doesn't actually develop these games?
cant wait to see what game he'll tack buzz aldrin on to sell DLC.
But ME3 had a great ending.

I still want to know why I saved the Collectour base.
But ME3 had a great ending.
Great? Perhaps in the same sense that Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt had a great ending. Both endings certainly got a strong reaction out of me, so I guess that they succeeded that way, but they still felt like a trollish non-sequiturs.

Well, Casey Hudson is a great creative director. Wish him the best at Microsoft. As for him working on the HoloLens project, It makes it even more interesting now as this project will revolutionize a lot of things. I have been wanting someone to develop it for quite a while now.

Nope. Great in the sense of "really, really good and I loved it", and I will stand by this. I thought this thread needed something other than the usual, tiring ME3 ending circlejerk of hate that has been going on for years now, even if just a single dissenting opinion.
I could actually do just with ME1. ME2 and 3 were by no means bad games in my opinion, but none of them really captured the magic like ME1 did and I'm not just talking the novelty factor. ME1 had that sense of exploration, of wonder and the unknown, it was sci-fi opera in all the good ways. ME2 and 3 largely didn't exapnd on the universe as much as they possibly could, they lost the flair, plus most of the game design choices went into the generic sci-fi blockbuster that simply lacked in unique character.
Eh, I thought that Mass Effect 2 was the best game in the series, mostly because the reapers were the least involved in it. No really, reapers are the worst part of the Mass Effect universe. Shepard spends half their time worrying about more mundane, relatable issues, like space politics, war, racism, crime, all relatively interesting matter. But then they have to spend the other half of their time worrying about these boring Cthulhu wannabe space robots who look like giant robot head lice and spend the whole series pretending to be incomprehensible, only for Shepard to discover in the end that their primary motivation is

Spoiler. Nearly every race in the Mass Effect universe is more interesting than the reapers, their existence being a mystery was the only thing they had going for them. And Mass Effect 3 even ruined that about them too. I liked Mass Effect 2 because it dropped the pretension characteristic of the rest of the series, and allowed itself to be silly and fun. It focused on the strong points of the Mass Effect universe.
Back in the day with all the speculating as to what the Reapers' motivation could be after Sovereign's "we are beyond your comprehension", finding out that a large deal about the Reapers' plan was to make people smoothies as Reaper sex equivalent already was a flop in my opinion.
In ME1, Reapers were an ominous, overwhelmingly powerful enemy with a motivation beyond organic understanding. In ME2 they went to being overwhelmingly powerful space-rapists and by ME3 they were space-4chan's troll legions made form to move IRL users to the wastebin folder.

Without starting what might be an avalanche, I'm curious what it is you like about the ME3 ending.
