Yeah, I thought about the Amoured Comparments for instant rage mode on every wave too. But since I now always spec Bloodlust for speed, I don't rely on it that much anymore. It is a good idea.

 

Think I tried a Flamerless weapon platform Sentinal at one point as well? Only what makes the Flamer Vorchas any fun is the fire explosions & melee (something I never see any pugs do). Why the Geth Trooper is the worst Flamer kit, no detonater for his Flamer and Flamer can't detonate his ammo powers. Truely a lamer kit. What was BioWare thinking? Pugs already only play the Vorcha Flamer kits without a detonator to begin with. So why give pugs more of the same BS, BioWare? ... BioWare logic sure is confusing sometimes.

For me - the soldier is more fun because you have to play him like an absolute friggin' maniac.

 

Slap on a BPP (because Vorcha) and Adrenaline Mod... run as fast as you can towards the enemy and ignite with a quick burst of Flamer. Heavy melee to close the final gap and stagger your target and then Carnage to the face at point blank and dakka dakka BPP time.

 

Rinse and repeat.

 

Focus primarily on infantry - you need the Bloodlust stacks to survive playing this way... but it is a helluva lot of fun!

I used to play a Flamerless Vorcha Sentinel, It was fun but lag kinda f'ed up the 'nades

This is pretty much how I play as well; insanely fun! Just constant flaming gets boring really fast; the sentinel has the biotic booms to cackle at, so the soldier gets to be the hyperactive, hamster-on-coffee kit, zipping around and clawing burning minions in the face. It only stops being fun when you underestimate the time it takes you to reach that marauder, and he downs you as you are winding up for the HM

And slightly off-topic, once I respecced the geth trooper as non-flamer weapon platform, I never looked back.
