If you don't already have a superb HoK ring, and have low con, then do Heal on Kill and constitution. If you already have that, then consider either critical chance (if low cunning) or if you have higher cunning then critical damage bonus and attack %

i didn't get any dragon weapons either (blue or purple). but i'm in the same boat as Drasca, having all of them multiple times over its not like i needed any. plus it was a surprisingly decent chest.

yeah, even though the Maul already has 11% HoK, the extra HoK is very useful on 2H warriors. Some people complain I get 'carried' by HoK, other people just learn to enjoy being an absolute monster with tons of HoK devastating everything around them. I think you'll be the latter. Have fun with that maul! Do share stories of how you destroy all the things.
Sigh. Of course it was the 2h sword. Sulevin's proc is too good to throw away, it functionally instagibs crowds.

Due to the nature of the witchcraft employed on the special victory chest, if you already had every dragon weapon you instead get a double sized chest.
I would much rather have had a chest with a dragon weapon with a chance for better base damage than 8 salvage items

So was getting a purp in the victory chest not a sure thing? Cause i got a victory chest, and it did have a Dragon wep in it... but it was ilvl14 blue... which is ridiculous because all my characters have had better gear than that for weeks, and then it only salvaged to an iron ore... which also cause me great frustration.
I have to admit i feel jipped because my group and i farmed perilous dragons all last night, (and then i went and soloed routine with my reaver till i went to bed) and not only did i not get a decent dragon wep from the chest, which i thought was certain, but also none of the perilous dragons dropped anything more than grays for myself and most of our party...
Also were we supposed to get 1 victory chest, or 2? (one for the completion of the normal event, and one for the extended event?)
Got the last dragon item I needed, the shield lol.

Its close. I think it is better than caliban if you use a shield that has the same masterwork as caliban.
I got a long-sword of the dragon. It does a bit less damage than my common firm tournament axe, but that HOK should make up for it. It opened my eyes to the fact I only have two characters who can use it, compared to every other class having three or four characters that can use the same weapon types - a travesty I am sure the Bioware team shall address in their next DLC.

The Dragon Longsword and Dwarven Proving Shield get the job done. No Caliban here, it was a nice upgrade.
I got the shield. OK I guess, my sword and boards will be even tankier, but I'm still stuck with a crummy iron bar blade that needs replacing, and a fury of the veil. Consistently for two months the only purples I have gotten are level 8 to 12, or are runes.
I know your pain. I had to stop playing my legionnaire, as I was not getting better gear for him, while I was for other classes.
Gots me a purple Longsword of the Dragon in time to have something good to actually complete the sword challenge with, as well as a Boon of the Spoon for novelty purposes and a highly-coveted yet rarely-seen regeneration potion. Those highlights made me happy.

It blows my mind that they did this.
I don't know if I'm more surprised that they actually did this to some people, or the fact that I'm actually, "surprised that they did this to some people".
There's no justification in separating the rewards across the community. Some people may have killed no dragons, and since they were in the high tier they got a purple. These guys that really needed a purple, worked their butts off to help the community get their rewards, and they got a useless item. Unbelievable.
Yay, got the Greatsword. All I'm missing are the shield, maul and dagger, and the only one of those I care about at all is the dagger.
