Just a quick question, can you in fact look up at the dragon flying around and know when it is going to bomb you in the non top of the castle levels?  Or are there areas that the dragon will not bomb (as in perhaps along the edges of the map?).  This is a real problem for squishy characters, both the lighting ball and especially the fire breaths.

Becasue that battle on those maps is often so frenetic I am rarely situationaly aware of the dragon overhead.  Beefy fighter not that big of a deal, wimpy necormancer, very big deal.

You can see the dragon on the mini map, though that would only help when you've cleared most of the area and can tell which red dot it is. With that being said, I'd assume you could look up and see it but I'm usually busy trying to not die or whatever.

At the end of the day just stay in buildings as much as you possibly can, you won't get hit if it's got a roof.

You can hear the dragons breath incoming as well, its faint but if you react fast you can dodge it, Lightning is my most hated one, drains life so fast its unreal..

There are a few 'safe' areas but they are between zones and even there the dragon can still blast you sometimes..

Oh. You have HoK. In that case, dragonlings make sense.

Apologies, yes, I kind of assumed that most players use some kind of HoK these days..

I've kinda noticed the dragon likes to strafe certain areas for sure, so I attempt to avoid those when I can. It's hard to, though, as those are also areas where the enemy likes to cluster up (of course it is).
