out of all of them who should be with me? 
or should i change my party between Hakkon missions? (if so which missions in Hakkon for which character?)

 

EXTREAMLY SORRY: I havent finished the Inquistion Main Quest......My last mission is to face Corypheus.

Cassandra, Sera and Viv did me fine for the entire DLC at level 23 with appropriate gear on normal.

I took Cass, Cole and Dorian. Cass should be with you for the quest where you enter the Old Temple, Cole is good for the spirit quests (or Solas) and I take Dorian to replace Soals since I play it after the game's over.

I took Solas, Sera and Cassandra in my playthrough. Solas had some things to say about elven lore, Sera had some funny comments about the scenery and stuff and Cass had a scene in the old temple at the end of the DLC that was quite interesting.

There are Tevinter ruins there, so it fits to take Dorian. Sera has a lot of things to say. There are also elven stuff to see. Cassandra also has some cool bits during the end.

You and I think the same way! Lol that's why I took them too, and Dorian instead of Viv because of the ruins.

 

Yes Tho I take Dorian everywhere  xD I was thinking about taking Solas with me too, but I wanted to hear the party banter between Cass & Cole, so I left Solas at home.

I even fought Hakkon with those three and normally I always take Bull with me to fight dragons. But I thought, Cass is from a dragon hunter clan, she should have a turn too.

I'd say Solas, Cole and Cassandra are the most relevant . Dorian has some nice comments. The rest don't really contribute to the overall lore

Cassandra, Dorian, and Solace with my Mage Inq. The best dialogue and input seemed to be from the Mages in my session. And if one was a fan of making Duncan sigh when in Ostagar (ie; DAO), Dorian also has this ability with certain Spirits.

I'm definitely taking Cass, Dorian and Sera for this when I get it. I enjoy Dorian's commentary about pretty much anything magical or Tevinter in origin, Cass is my go-everywhere and I like Sera's less reverent contribution.

I brought Cassandra (bring her for the main quest - she has a special part), Solas, and Dorian/Cole. I switched Dorian out after a bit for Cole, who has some pretty relevant comments and says things that induce feelings. If you play on a post-game save and are missing Solas, then I'd also rec Dorian.

OMG xD I have to do that in my next PT  Which will hopefully be soon, cause I only have the last two main quests left (I'm procrastinating by collecting herbs to upgrade all potions  )

The professor is trying to remember all the names of the ancient elves, but forgets one of them, the same one standing in front of him, and Solas' reply is so deadpan it's funny.

Dorian, but he only made one comment on the Tevinter ruins for me. Might be a bug though.

So i should conclude that Cassandra(must be inquisition reasons), Solas(as must for elven lore), Cole vs Dorian(switch them BUT importantly in which{how many times} part i when the switch happen?)

 

Im not fan of Sera. She too ignorant........At first i liked her n knew she wasnt romance option but tried it to roleplay failed attempt. But conversation wise not my type to chill with.....TOO much of Hypocrite.....reminds me of "good" people who do more damage in my life them good......sorry.....
