There is a character called Ciri who'se voiced by Jo Wyatt who also plays fem hawke :)

Whoever did voice casting in Dragon Age: CDPR has clearly learned from the best (i.e. YOU :P;) :P

I love the voice casting in DA, always spot on, very glad to see so many quality voice actors in the talent pool of BioWare games. Love hearing them else where in games.

Who is you're favorite Voice Actor in DA:I and what other games do you like them in?

Alistair Parker as Blackwall, who I think actually does some voice work in TW3 as well?

Miranda Raison for Cassandra.  The only other game role I know her for is Dragon Age II (same role). Robyn Addison's Sera was probably my second favorite. I believe this was her first game role.  I agree with overall premise her though.  Voice acting is one of my favorite parts of the series, and sets it apart from some franchises.

It helps that Ciri can be downright sassy sometimes depending on which dialogue you choose as her. Can be like playing sarcastic femHawke all over again. :S

Corinne Kempa, Miranda Raison and Robyn Addison were all great. I think Kempa gets it for sheer anguish she managed to put into Leliana's voice.

I thought Parker was poor. Blackwall's voice bores me. I hardly talk to him at all now, mainly because of the voice. Mind you, I'm British, so maybe his voice sounds more exotic to other folk than to me.

I think the acting in DAI is excellent in general (as it has been in previous games) but I have to give the award to Ramon Tikaram. Dorian is very well-written, but the voice-acting really reinforces his charm.

Agreed. Fantastic acting throughout but Ramon Tikaram and Gareth David Lloyd (Solas) are my personal favourites. Don't know if either has done VA before though. Really looking forward to meeting grown-up Ciri in TW3 now!

I am pretty sure the VA of Sera plays a little girl in The Witcher, Chapter IV

Alec Newman (aka Sebastian) and Mark Healy (Ser Jory etc.) as Vernon Roche are also heard in TW3. I like it.

Ramon Tikaram as Dorian is a close second.

I hate the VA in the first Witcher game, it's so cringeworthy. I couldn't play it any longer than a few hours because it got progressively worse.

The VA in DA games is amazing though, all of them. I love that Bioware hires such perfect people to play the roles they suit.

All of the voice actors in DAI did a really good job, especially Cassandra, Sera, Leliana (props to Corrine who did a very good job transitioning from happy, cheerful to dark, brooding Leliana between scenes), Cullen, Josephine and many others.

I think it's safe to say Bioware games have the best voice acting in them. And you can clearly see that the devs are in very good contact with the voice actors, they don't have to constantly change an actor for a character, unlike Triss in The Witcher for example. She has a new voice in each game, it's still good acting, but it ruins the consistency of the character.

Also, Jo Wyatt as Ciri in The Witcher is perfect, considering Ciri is one of my favorite characters and my canon is sassy fem!Hawke so...

I don't get why people say fem!Hawke's voice is terrible, I think she did a fantastic job as sarcastic Hawke, while male Hawke fit more as the agressive type. Similar to m!Shep - Paragon, fem!Shep - Renegade in Mass Effect.

The sheer amount of dialogue in this game is so impressive, particularly that the voice actors and direction both carry such a level of consistency across dozens of hours of gameplay.

I just completed Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, but Greg Ellis as Cullen has been fantastic.  I don't think anyone in this post is going to have a wrong answer.

I didn't like her voice acting with Fem!Hawke in DAII, but I thought she did better than all other seven voice actors in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

See, now, I like it because it *isn't* exotic. It's an "everyman" voice, common as mud. That doesn't mean the actor doesn't portray emotion well. But tastes vary. It's like pizza. Some people consider pizza a failure if it doesn't have a minimum of four toppings, but I like mine with just cheese and sauce (and sometimes mushrooms).

That said, DAI is, in general, masterfully voiced. All the actors did an amazing job.
