I don't really understand why the different tatoo. Expecially the humans/dwarf ones. And the variations aren't even many, since many are simply the less evident version.

I don't understand either. I mean, it's dumb not to have the same hairstyles as DA2 when you make your Hawke, but it doesn't even make sense not to have the same tattoos. They're by definition: permanent

Yep. Quite stupid. And really, in the end is a texture, why shouldn't be possible to import?

I have even thought the "problem" with the lack of hairstyles may have been because there was some kind of problem that doesn't let the CC have more than a certain numbers of hair? but than, why choose the most horrible ones? why put all the balding ones on the female CC? It doesn't make sense. Older games with more complex CC had much more hairstyles, open world, and all. Dragon's Dogma have sixty or so hairstyles!!!

I always thought she/he was just fruit of Variic's fervent imagination  :D (still, it was a bad choice not giving us the old tatoo at least.  )

Yeah, I doubt the problem was a limited number of hair. Like you said, they should have scrapped the more redundant ones if that was the case.

And, if the hair "space" was limited, they would have taken out the balding styles and put something decent for females. I think they just where out of time for modelling. But after six months, they couldn't complete something of what they had (like the gray portraits hair, or the old Josie style) and put them in the Black Emporium? Or at least, like, answer decently on the matter? is quite obvious people don't like the option they gave us. (of course, maybe read the forums sometime would help, devs! or at least letting us know you understand this is a problem for many!)

I still can't capacited myself the idiot who don't like Cass got more attention than all the fan that posted and created for months treads and made pages and pages of comments. I'm never going to do those idiotic things like that crazy guy, but really, is a little disappointing. :(

Still, is quite ridicolous. Most company would have jumped in a moment at create new outfits and hairstyles/eyebrows/beards if they knew people would have been temped to buy them. BioWare is the only company I know who refuse to do something like an appearance pack

Its pure BS thats what it is as many have said the hair options we were given sucks *** and why we werent given access to a few of the NPCs options is retarded instead we got The 50 Shades of Bald which was plain lazy if you ask me.

Heres a few options for consideration B-Ware.
Possible Options:
Male
1.Blackwall
2.Cullen

Female
1.Morrigan
2.Isabella
3.Leliana
4.Cassandra
5.Josephine

Hey, I think it's pretty important. In a Bioware game especially, since you'll be looking at your character's face up close for literally dozens of hours per playthrough. I wish they didn't discount how important it really is to be able to make a unique character, and an appealing one too. It adds personality, like scars. Personally, it's really annoying to have so few good options because I hate reusing hair for a second character. Even seeing so many NPCs with my hair is annoying, but unavoidable. Having only 2 styles I like (and one having sideburns) means I can only make a couple of characters... :(

I've never been able to fully describe why good hair in a game is important to me but this pretty well hits the mark really.

Glad I could help, though I still feel like I can't quite explain it! Another reason it's so important is because hair is generally the defining aspect of a face. That's why it's so jarring to have the same hair on multiple characters. It just... makes me double-take.

Yeah, with so few options that I'd consider satisfactory, it's tough to make multiple characters that you'd be satisfied with because of it. Not only that, but with Hawke in the equation, if you're in a really bad spot and only like, say, two hairstyles, well, there's your Yours and Hawke set XD

Yeah even when people have the same hairstyle in RL their hair still doesn't look exactly the same. Luckily I like/am ok with more of the DAI hairstyles than you but I had a bunch of trouble with my Shepard's hair in mass effect since there were only 2 that I really liked.

I'm having a big problem with one of my Lavellan. I think hair add a lot to characterization and flash out a character. And here start my problems. For now I have somehow managed to connect an hairstyle to every personality. But I can't really find a more severe tied up hairstyle for my pro elf, militaristic unkind lady. The only one who would work is the "Varric style", but the baldin hairline bother me way too much. Expecially since Cullen have a less receding hairline that my elf!!!

Fun fact: every time there's a post in this thread supporting the idea of a DLC for new hair, the Drinkquisition takes another shot.

You guys must never be sober, between this, the clothing threads, the growing number of TW3 threads and the random "My LI is ugly," threads as well.

Luckily my medications prevent me from being able to drink alcohol. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to hold a job after reading through these forums..

That's exactly what happens to me. It's really annoying and I don't know what to do next playthrough. From this one:

Spoiler
And just like that, I'm out of hairs

So put companions hair into the CC is too hard to make, armour to dress on Skyhold even more, stuff from the MP OhMyGodNo, but the stuff from JoH is ok.  <_<

BioWare, you are not helping us not feeling negletched, forgotten, and moked.

I knew they'd come out with a pack like that eventually, but yeah... it makes me sad that that was their priority  Not to mention the fact that I believe they would get more money and goodwill by releasing a hair and outfit pack. And that's not even going into detail about why I think this specific pack isn't all that great compared to other packs like it we've gotten. Oh well, next time?

I don't get it with most developers these days.  Fans cry out for something month after month, year on year, yet the developers ignore them, usually making some piece of garbage dlc that few people would ever want.

Take Xcom.  Fan's screamed for DLC containing new maps, nothing else, just new maps.  Did they get them?  Did they diddly.

Maybe if we start shouting " We don't want more hairstyles, give us more fetch quests"  Then we might get hairstyles.  :)

There's still nothing even close to my Hawke's DA2 haircut available in Inquisition. The haircut Alistair and Cullen have is quite close, but for absolutely no reason, it's not available. Instead, all of the non-buzzcut short hair consists of those hideous partially-shaved hipster cuts that absolutely no human being could possibly look good in. I seriously don't get why all of the in-game hairstyles aren't accessible.

Me either... and armours, too. We can already use tons of hair NPCs have (even Varric), so why are others off-limits? You'll either end up looking a bit like a prominent character, or a lot like half the NPCs.

Just give us the choice. If someone thinks they look too similar to Cullen, that person can not use his hair. But don't make it off-limits to the rest of us who want it... and that goes for armour too.
