Does anybody know why the Sunken Flagon model would not show up on the area map?

Ah... never mind; I accidentally cleared the Static flag on the model. ![]()

I've noticed that one of the boathouse models won't show up on the map or minimap when set to static (which it needs to be to use its default walkmesh).

Yes, I'm seeing that as well. It might be because it's animated. I can only get it to display on the map by using a horizontal card with a screen shot of the building. It's not a great look though.

Can't you set it to static just for baking purpose, and revert to its initial non-static state after? That's what I did to be able to use the walkmesh of a model I created, but keep its animations anyway, and it works perfectly well.

He says the boathouse is set to static.

I'm going to try a non-animated placeable model that just had the upper surface faces of the boathouse (so it can't be seen from underneath), flatten it out somewhat, then place it up out of sight.

Yes that seems to give pretty good results:

Yes, so he can use its walkmesh, but then it doesn't show up on the map, hence the workaround to set it to static only for baking purpose, then revert to its original non-static state: that way, the walkmesh will be usable, and the model will still appear on the map.

Ah yes, sorry about that. Good idea.
