yeah i got a haft and pommel that add heal on kill. the base heal on kill of my maul is 11% so I guess that's fairly low. i didn't add much damage to it at all stat wise

Yes, base is 11%. I added 5% from something; haft I think. Pommel I opted for other things. I'll look into it though...I like having some attack bonuses too. Plus, 53% HoK is just fine. Not too long ago I was happy with my 15% HoK. Heh.
Maybe taking a look at Flow of Battle and Deep Reserves might be a bit better than going with more heal. Or looking directly at the stamina regen.
Clear a Path also is not so hot for a Reaver, since it only works for basic attacks. And way down the tree anyway.

I played as a sword 'n board Champion in SP, I didn't pay any significant attention to the Reaver specialization. Perhaps it's not as big of a deal in SP, but in MP, I can't see Clear a Path getting any significant use, and as such, is lackluster.
