Is it possible to complete Memories of the Grey after completing Revelations?* Do Blackwall's comments when you find an artifact change to reflect the fact that the Inquisitor knows the whole story?

My Inquisitor began Memories of the Grey ages ago, but I did Wicked Eyes Wicked Hearts first this time, so the moment Here Lies the Abyss is done, Revelations will start. Usually, I wrap up Memories before initiating the second main quest... but I'm getting antsy to head off to Adamant. I suppose I can zoom through the Western Approach and Emprise du Lion and get those last 4 artifacts before going to Adamant, but I'm afraid that I'll get sidetracked and want to do every other quest in the WA and EdL.

*I plan to ask the Wardens to join the Inquisition, and I plan to sentence Blackwall to join them, so he won't be leaving the Inquisition.

You can still collect Grey Warden artifacts after Revelations. Blackwall, instead of saying "nice find" after collecting an artifact, will say (paraphrasing) "it still feels good to help the Grey Wardens even after everything that happened."

Yes, as above, what he says changes. He seems rather relieved, actually, and I think it fits if you do what I did and have him marked for the Wardens afterward. I had two or three still left to collect post-Revelations, so it was, I think, a more interesting way to finish than just completing it all before.

Thanks much! I try to mix things up on every playthrough, and one of the things I wanted to change was the order in which I do the quests. I appreciate knowing in advance that I'm not going to get shut out of Blackwall's memorabilia collection just because I wanted to try something different.

As I said, I planned to recruit the Wardens, so I'm going to have to do some quests to regain approval for Vivienne, Cassandra, Solas, and Varric (I'm planning on sacrificing Hawke this time  :crying: , so Varric is going to be upset. Good thing there are still plenty of red lyrium deposits lying around.)

I did exactly those 2 things in my 2nd playthrough and those 4 still like me well enough :)

I don't think you even have to complete the approval quests anyway to gain enough approval with the companions. Never finished the red lyrium's deposit or Viv's books or Cass' bounty hunting. And since you will not be banishing the Wardens, I doubt you lose much approval with Blackwall anyway  (especially since you would have finished Revelations, which require him to have enough approval with you). Solas on the other hand is the tougher one imo... since that glow space looking artifacts only net you "slightly approves" as opposed to "approves" or "greatly approves" that the other companions get from their approval quests.
