SP Ideas
*Skyhold being further improved upon  using the extra Resources to build more Watch towers rebuilding the prisons and making it back to the original time it was created.

*New Class for the mages  upon creating your character you can choose a this class which allows you to use Magic bows (similar concept  to the Elderscrolls  magic bows  but also allowing the Magic archers to Summon  Wolves Bears  Werewolfs   but later on as you upgrade it your able to summon stronger forms to fight along side you. Exactly like DAO's original Concept for the Archer as a subclass.

*Sky hold having your own Personal Dragon deep within the keep that you could use to fight other Dragons but also able to use it as a mount  to fly around on  in the area you are in  but also little Dragonlings  also could help out during the fights.

* for Archers the ability to use Long bows that have extended range and more damage than the current bows but fires Slower  and Staggers most enemies. and a smaller chance to Stagger Bigger Dragons as apposed to those around the players size.

*being able to have  NPC's that can   get Schematics for weapons and armor and the off chance of being able to get Normal or Legendary based Schematics for both Weapons and armor and a chance to get   other gear  from previous missions you may of missed.

* being able to change the stonework of the Keeps and returning them Like Skyhold back to their former Glory  and further increase their Strength  to further protect the area's these keeps are in.

*Able to Set up a new Keep in an Area that you find dragons which will notifiy you when a new dragon appears  Via a messenger sent to you  where ever you are.

* Dragons being able to respawn  within a  days time  longer for stronger dragons  but these dragons are stronger than those fought previously but still killable. (For End  Game users)

*Being able to go to Orlais  and the older areas of Fereldan  and new enemies to fight and new quests to enjoy.

*Dragons have a chance To Attack your Keeps  which   will often   Cause that Keep to be inactive allowing enemies to overwhelm or Steal the keep from you  which forces you to steal it back

*Being able to Reinforce  and Garrison Keeps with Select forces  that you would normally not see being able to have   Qunari  Elves Dwarves and humans  apart of  the keeps defenses or just one of them depending how you want to  set up your defenses.

*increasing  SP   Level cap to 50 which gives you new loot for  your weapons  new smithing  schematics to obtain.

*New   Inquisitor  perks that  increases Allies accuracy the amount of forces you can see at each  Keep.

*New Ways to make money that  NPC's  usually offer to have a Set of Coffers  that  Replenish within a Days time and adds up till the inquisitor   can pick up  their money these coffers will also have a chance for very Exclusive items not Found in the shops or even the black market.

*new Style of Smithing Tailored to your  characters Race   All current and new armors will be tailored to the characters race so if you are an elf they will be a dalish smithing armor  vice versa  to the other races.

* New weapons to  find  like Crossbows Halberds Pikes Longbows  Staves battle staves etc  different style of armors to choose from Some heavy armor that can be  added to a mage or  Archer  but these armors are harder to get than normal  armors that benefit the race/class you are on/playing as.  new Runes that allow you to make combo's such as Fire and ice   Fire and lightning   fire ice and lighning  together  etc instead of just one rune to choose from but this can be used with other runes like Dragon Slaying etc.

New Miscellaneous quests that can be repeated more than once offering gold and items  for those of you who resort to  money glitches and other exploits that bioware  fixed.

*Followers have mounts now instead of   them disappearing  when you summon your mount  and will follow you  where ever you go.

*New boss fights that  the Single player user can do instead of  just the  evil  "XXXX" not saying because of Spoiler  for those of you who haven't  done this but he is the main antagonist of the game but new bosses like him  to fight  that rewards epic loot for both you and your party  so their will be something for your mages and archers/melee  users that are in your party.

*Shaders that  change the color  of your armors instead of being material based  which can  be found (Singleplayer and Multiplayer)

*Being able to use your CAC (your inquisitor)   in multiplayer instead of the preset races  and forcing you to farm but you can reset your characters  Skills  to  what is offered in MP   and the Gear you have will be Carried over into MP *Only equipped items so things like Accessories  armor weapon(s)  (potions)    tho potions are easy to obtain so that really isn't needed.

*(Being able to Forge Dragon wing and Drake scale  armors from Drakes and Dragons you fight in SP  which  gives you enough to use with your Dragon bone armor which also makes you Require a new Forge for Skyhold which can be obtained  doing a parallel Quest that the inquisitor embarks on fighting powerful enemies for  the new "Dragon Wing Forge" which allows the player to create  Dragon armors including  the Armor that Hawke  Gets if he or she is either class (Rogue  Melee  and Mage)  but the armor however will be using the  Race Smithing instead of making it look like  Hawks armor exactly .

* being able to go back into time and seeing how Arlathan  was before the humans destroyed  the elves many workings  and beautiful gleaming city/nation    completing this will teach  the person going back through this new insight  on smithing and new insight on building  new  schematics that wer long forgotten to bring the elves  further back into  their old culture.

* Being able to interact with your Family  or who ever sent you away  for example if you are a qunari you'd see your  Fellow mercs that will offer new quests and other insights on other things that they have planned (if they live ) Same of which goes for the other classes like the dwarf and elves/humans  (basically  end game content)

* New hairstyles and voices  to choose from more  banter between your character and other NPC's you have  along with you IE Varic Solas   etc.

* Being able to have your own Faithful Warhound  that is always with you  or the option to have with you  and being able to put on Armor on him tailored to dogs  and give him or "her" sharp claws    to  fight with you of which can be added for elemental Damage as well if you wished along with being able to choose the gender of your dog  male or female but no   Negative side effects like   males being stronger than females etc.

*Skyhold being able  to be used as a base of operations  allowing you  to get increased rewards  such as EXP  Coins  Resources for building    armor and the keeps themselves  Travelers will also Tell you where new and Rare Resources are and marks it on your map for you to obtain for  either your armor or the keeps in your Arsenal.

Being able to Restore  Weishaupt  to its former glory  and using it as a Secondary foothold for your  inquisition   which also offers  extra Coffers for you  to use that also like Skyhold  gives you  coins and other loot that can be used  for  further  improvements of armor weapons and your fortresses.

*Adding Trebuchets  as a first and last line of defense of the keeps  against  unwanted attention of those who are apposing your regime.

*adding an elven  race that joined the Qun on their own free will with their own unique storyline  like the one from DA2 DLC.

basically all I can think of at the moment

Sarah, you've put a lot of thought into this and covered a lot of ground -might I suggest filtering around

  1. World space/new lands,
  2. Character, quest, behavior changes
  3. New items
  4. Unique to multiplayer

on a second pass and looking at similar posts?  If this suggestion sheds a tear -think about how to make an NPC cry in various emotional displays - frostbite could do it well.

There are several other posts for new quests, forts and the like that include some of what your are looking for (search your topic areas) and some have artwork for the various elements of the UI.  Some of the Behaviors like weapon switch is not allowed at this time -I think it's more of a resource issue due to the probability of animation sequencing during special effects throwing a glitch or process overload and simply having the secondary weapon in inventory.  The range issues are baffling, but I do think slower animation for the long shots is reasonable with surprise attack points (probability) for the first shot, then a reduction.

A... game like that would be truly epic O_O

here... take my vote O_O

(face got stuck like this >>>  O_O )

EDIT: Hey what if we kinda "borrowed some ideas" from GTA V and had our story told from the point of view of 3 chars? A Noble trying to save his/her land, a commoner trying to save his/her family, and a common thief only in it for personal gain? Each with its own party and allies then at the end we'll have an army of unique allies?  :3

Story content. Actual story with dialogue etc.

No more fetch questing.
