Does the Arc Pistol fire a single projectile or multiple projectiles when charged? Doesn't it consume multiple bullets charged? I looked in Resource Library but couldn't find it. Any help explaining how this gun works would be appreciated.

Also is a Piercing mod/Ammo a must when using it?

It fires 3 projectiles when charged, each at a 3x damage multiplier, and consumes 3 ammo. As with any hitscan weapon, piercing is good, but because base damage is so high it isn't affected by armor that much. I prefer drill rounds and heavy barrel. 2nd mod changes depending on if I'm using a grenade kit (magnifier), melee (stunner) or a kit that can't prime ( incendiary and piercing), otherwise magazine.

I dont like it due to the constant charge up to get its max potential ( AKA it hurts my right forearm after wave 5 ) It is an amazing gun and a beautiful what is it 32 in the clip Black Widow..the pistol version..just the constant charging gets annoying after a couple of waves.

Pretty much it's already covered but yeah armor piercing isn't going to matter so much as far as ignoring the armored resistance of enemies as long as you're charging and firing all the time the damage loss is pretty insignificant. However the double hits on certain enemies are certainly a factor in overall in game killing. AP IV, Drill III are some of my favorite rounds on it, I'll also use Warp if using a biotic as well. Generally heavy barrell and power mod on most kits.

Just wait until ME4 when they reveal that it's actually Geth technology and that the Geth somehow predate the Quarians...because Bioware loves retconning lore to swerve people.

Yeah, whenever I play with the Arc Pistol or see someone else play with it, I or they always seem to do really well. Really weird that such a tinny gun can be capable of such action. ... Wonder what that says about Male Quarians? Well, if QMR is really a grill, she should be able to answer this question. ... Wait, what am I doing, the PS3 is on and ready to go. Let the PS3 ME3mp Sinful Force action commence!
