No virtuoso for me.  I haven't perfected him yet.  I'm still a ZITHER!ing idiot.

 

 

I have Zither but I'm afraid to play him as he seems way to complicated and having to memorize all the songs....ok so I'm a button masher it's easier....besides I can just see the messages I'll get if I try to play him!  Maybe it would be best sometime to take him our for a spin in a private game so that when I get killed before the end of the first level it won't be an issue!

 

Take him for a few spins on routine until you get the chords down.  They're easy to master, but he a bit more of a learning curve than many of the other characters.  Or, yes you can do private, but a routine pug would be best so you can practice with a team.

I know PS4 numbers are usually way high, but you've got one extra zero accidentally tacked on there.

 

Just double-checked my HQ to be sure, and our community goal is 2,750,000... not 27,500,000.

For reference, here's some of me Zither gameplay from a threatening match.  Using Cool Beats to destroy, A Little Knight Music (armour up), Fast Beat (movement speed), Sing Along (heal on hit).

 I take it that these are the least played chars then, since it's such a strange mixture. Too bad it's not 10 matches with Katari, Avvar or Reaver, since I got the Greatsword of the Dragon only yesterday, the maul the day before and had no chance to test either of them.

If you want to run perilous at lower levels you can pretty much stick to using barrier (with upgrades of course) and toss in haste or something else. That can be enough to get through as long as you have a few other damage dealers in the party. People have seemed to get the hang of staying on top of the virtuoso so it's easy enough to keep barriers up.

 

I had a really fun game yesterday where there was a keeper, elementalist and lego. I took the damage role and just spammed upgraded Power Chord all game, while tossing in haste and topping up barriers when they needed it. I didn't even have all the good passives but was getting crits over 2k at times.
