Or, you know, do you experiment a little?
Do you always play with what you're comfortable with?

Giggity.
INB4 ninja post-deletion Mod, here is my on-topic statement:
If I know someone wants to play serious (ish) I'll play what I know I can do well with so we can complete the match. I might also swing more towards comfort if pugging because I like to pull my weight.
But randomizer matches are great, and a lot of fun can be had.

Discomfort, you say? Care for a suppository?

I like to pull my weight.
Not me. I like someone else to do it for me. So I never worry about wipes.

I second this.... except I wouldn't say "I like to pull my weight" so much as I would say "I may have to finish multiple waves by myself." My most comfortable kit is probably the Batarian Soldier, and I have two builds for him that I use in an extremely sketchy-looking PUG. One is called my PUG-proof build (basically 6/4/6/6/4 with an Adrenaline Module, Wraith/Claymore, and Disruptor Rounds) and the other is called my Extra-PUG-proof build (exactly the same, except with Incendiary IV).
I'm actually happy if I finish on the bottom half of the scoreboard in a PUG game, because it means the game went smoothly.

Too much comfort it no good. Things need to get rough a little, I find.

Anyway, this topic idea came from roleplaying the Batarian Slasher. I was lashing too much and if it wasn't for one team member doing all the carrying, we would of wiped much earlier.

But not 'liability' rough.
That's what Silver is for, IMO.
I'm not going to bring down a Gold lobby with weaktastic dysfunction.

I run an Extra-Pug-Proof build while I'm on my first cup of coffee. Though I take AP Ammo Harrier and a Power Amp, I'll have to try him with Adreneline+Shotgun sometime.

Totally uncalled for. I need to get to the gym without feeling burned out first. So I'm totally being serious with this thread. I think many would get more enjoyment if they leave comfortable OP setups out of it. (This is all I talk about. Thought BSN would understand me by now...)

Silver puts me to sleep, and Platinum leaves me soloing. Thus Gold is the perfect setting.

Harrier always needs Adren Mod III's to help with lasting firepower. ![]()
