Got a Superior Battlemage Armour Arms with 31% Spirit resistance! I thought they only went up to 21% on the mage resistance attributes, need some more now.. ![]()

Got my 4th Superb HOK ring last night (got 2 from the mage chest). All I want is the walking bomb ring
Got that damn Walking Bomn ring 3 times, but I lack a Heal on Kill ring. Ugh. ![]()

I mainly bought warrior chests since I wanted a health belt. Here are the new decent things I got:
Thunderstrike (x2)
Axe of the Dragon Hunter
Superb Ring of Flanking (that might have been from a rogue chest)
Caliban
Decent stuff, but copies of what I already had:
Song of the Marshes
Boon of the Spoon (x2)
Sundering (2 or 3 don't remember, one was higher damage than what I had)
Refined Hossberg Twainer (x4...)
March of the Everlasting
Probably didn't spend quite as much as some. I did have ~34,000 gold to start Saturday and eventually spent that, and then I spent maybe 15,000 Sunday. Not sure how much yesterday, I sort of just bought as I got gold.

Finally, after numerous chests, I finally got the PBtM out of a rogue chest. Still enjoy using the Trepanner's more but it's nice to have it in the inventory at last.

Question: I guess that you can check the numbers in terms of gold spent and/or platinum bought during this weekend... would it be safe to say that the community enjoyed them? ![]()

I don't want to go back to punishing myself with the normal chests. Well unless they start having a guaranteed rare or better like the class chests. The class chests were good at motivating me to play often, it also motivated people to buy platinum as the normal chests don't seem worth spending any kind of real money on.
I'll finally be able to start Witcher is the silver lining I suppose.

I think the Class Chests proved to most people that it just is not worth spending cash on normal chests and thus it would be more constructive to save cash for the class chests or similar chests, even if it would take a year.
Normal chests are just god awful in comparison. ![]()

Stupid me, wasting my gold on regular chests this weekend.

I spent a mix of platinum and gold and must have opened close to 200 chests. The only super useful things I got were:
Superb Crit Damage ring
Superb health belt (so happy this dropped and I only got it one time out of ~200 chests)
I also got a bunch of new weapons that would have been great last month but now is just meh:
Sulevin Blade
Axe of the Dragon Hunter
Song of the Marches
March of the Everlasting
I am thinking to just salvage the Sulevin Blade without even trying it out.
In the future, it would be nice to have chests based on weapon / accessory type instead of class type. If you're just going to give this stuff away, why not make it a little bit easier?

Nope, I'll be saving gold until these chests come back around again

Lol you are gonna get so much hate for what you said about Sulevin and salvaging it. Honestly though, maybe try to stop min/maxing all the time and enjoy making specific kits based on those weapons' unique abilities? I do that and find it to be a good source of amusement.

I lack the discipline to save money for that long.
I give myself a pat on the back if I manage to hold off for a full promotion.

I will keep 36-48k in reserve for chest events like this, but I constantly open large/medium chests only for Tier 1 salvage materials to waste on armor crafting. If I get some nice, well....that's nice.

I was hoping to get a Sulevin blade, I would even probably use it since I don't have that much of a good 2h aoe weapon. For my 2h warriors I use the Dragon Maul and I was wondering how the Sulevin compares to it. Watching a video of it yesterday made it seem like the procc doesn't happen that much, though that thing looks pretty (the blade), and Katari could make good use of it since he use standard attack more often.

- Superb Belt of Healing (from Victory chest)
- Superb Belt of Melee Defense
- Superb Belt of Ranged Defense x 2
- Superb Belt of Health x 2
