I've been buying warrior chests all day long, and haven't gotten diddly squat from them.

 

You've pissed off the wrong leprechauns, didn't you? Treat them nicely. Maybe make some offerings to the dark RNG's.

 

You've used some subjective & anecdotal terms, but they're not really useful statistically. What've you been getting exactly? How many refined hossberg twainers, etc have you gotten out of how many chests? I'm pretty sure I've salvaged at least 10-20 of those alone. Multiple sunderings (this is still a good maul, despite there being better).

 

Do you even get superb runes? Heal bonus Legs? Constitution Armor upgrades? Health Armor upgrades? Melee & Range defense armor upgrades? These are all really really useful, so it may be a perception issue. Even if you're salvaging superior runes all day, it means you'll eventually be getting imperial vestment cotton and craggy skin for weapon upgrades from them. That means Heal on Kill for offense cloth, and Critical damage bonus on offense leather upgrades.

 

What's the chest count now? I'm going to share my data.  It is not meant to brag, but to try to give some perspective on the relative occurrence of loot.

 

I've spent about 600k total in chests, with a large portion of them being warrior. I had lots and lots of salvage fodder (more than good stuff), but lots of awesome goodies too. Note it is all over the course of many many many chests, so it isn't just a lucky break, because most of it was sent to salvage. I could go several chests before getting to the good stuff, but I did get to the good stuff as you'll clearly see.

 

So I've bought about 240? chests.

 

This is not an exhaustive list of all the stuff I got, just everything I can remember right now.

 

I know I've gotten at least a dozen heal on kill rings, so that's 1/20 for me. 6-12 Superb stamina amulets. 2-3 critical damage bonus rings, 4 critical chance rings, about 3-4 of each of the +10 stat amulets, 2-4 each of the +armor penetration, guard penetration, barrier damage, rings, 1-5 melee defense, spirit defense, ranged defense, fire defense, cold resist, belts each (it varied).

 

4-8 of Griffon bows. 1-4 Calibans, 1-2? Sulevins, 2 Call of the Darks, 2-3 Siege's ends, 2-4 Calibans, several unique bows from punched, trepanners, grunsmans, etc. 1-3 wicked grace, agony, walking death each. No red birth daggers for me. 2-4 emperor's shields. 2 magehunter, 2 dwarven proving shields, 1 of the lower level 15% heal over 10 seconds shields,

 

4-5 +16 Cunning and +16 Constitution Upgrades (toward the end), 4-5 27% heal bonus upgrades. The rarest upgrades for me were the +32% electrical, fire and spirit resistance light armor upgrades.

 

There were plenty of other upgrades too of lesser grades, but still useful, such as +8 willpower upgrades, +11 constitution and +12 heal bonus for warriors.

 

Had lots of mage staffs that were not ultra end-game too, but definitely not bad staves (I just had better). I think I got about 4 staffs of the void, and 3 pyre of the forgotten, 4-6 fury of the veil, 4 mindchill, 

 

Again keep in mind, I went multiple chests without getting anything that was an upgrade or 'interesting' per se, but I kept on buying, and just didn't let the unlucky streaks bother me. There's a lot of stuff, and its quite possible to not have something very specific if you already have lots of gear, but there's lots of useful gear available in general, and you'll get it eventually (unlike large chests... uggggh)

 

We probably still have at least through sunday night and up until monday morning (maybe tuesday if we're lucky) 10 am pst. So keep on earning gold, keep on trying. The odds are soooo much better than large chests, it is ridiculous.

Of course I get superb runes, there is one every chest. Other than that, I've stated how many warrior chest I've opened today, around 20+. No unique weapons of any kind. I've gotten high level blues for weapons, 1 unique accessory (belt of sundering,..sigh), the rest were all ability rings. I've gotten no + 16 constitution armor upgrades.

 

Honestly, the only thing I really need from these chest is the superb belt of health. There is some things that would be nice, constitution amulet, +16 armor upgrades, sulevin blade, but the belt is what I'm really looking for.

 

As for rogue items, I would love to get PBtM, and I really could use another dagger. Another crit damage ring would be nice too. Another HoK as well.

2 hours later and 30 chests gone by:

  Tick Agony off my list. As well as Superb Stamina Amulet.

 

That leaves wicked grace, pyre, red birth, caliban and sulevin. Can anyone confirm if red birth is even dropping in these chests?

 

So far, I've opened 60 of the chests. 25 rogue 25 warrior, 10 mage (i already have everything Mage I could want minus pyre.)

I'm going to try and open another 60 tomorrow, only rogue and warrior.

 

Best part about all this is I have filled my accessories and upgrades tabs. I have 5-6 of the absolute best arms/legs for all types of armor. I have 8 of each type of rune (after salvaging most of them). I have suberb belts of all element resistances, attack resistances, and healh. I have 1 (some 2) of every kind of purple ring, as well as 1 of all the purple necklaces.  I checked my list of ability rings vs all characters and What the Actual F..... I've got 1 for every single ability that has a ring.

 

I have faith in the Good Prophet LukeShake, another 60 tomorrow, and I'll be able to tick off my last items.

Too bad you can't get audacity from these chests. Too low level.

Of course I get superb runes, there is one every chest. Other than that, I've stated how many warrior chest I've opened today, around 20+. No unique weapons of any kind. I've gotten high level blues for weapons, 1 unique accessory (belt of sundering,..sigh), the rest were all ability rings. I've gotten no + 16 constitution armor upgrades.

You need more warrior chests. I know you're disheartened now, but a 20 streak without decent uniques (I've gotten plenty of sundering belts too) happen. Some of the high level blue weapons are actually pretty decent, like Firm Tournament axe, emperor's guard blade, and sundering (used to be third best maul in the game, definitely best blue 2H).

 

Health Belt comes, but again is rare. See above 4 / 240 , spread across 240 chests, could've been first could've been last. PbtM actually sucks. Cruel redemption is better, and comes pretty often on Rogue Chests. HoK is on all class chests, and I think Crit Damage is on both rogue and warrior, or maybe just rogue. Not sure.

 

Sulevin and the +16 upgrades are really rare, 1/100 chance for sulevin was mentioned somewhere (this may be wrong, YMMV). So no wonder you might think your warrior chests are trash, because you're only looking for very specific items that are rare to get. . . i.e. your expectations are too high for how low your spending pool is.

 

You need more gold to get what you want. It isn't that the odds aren't better than ever, because they are, it is just that you don't have enough luck + gold to get there immediately.

 

I lucked out, but I also had over half a million gold available to spend to get there. Sorry I don't have anything better than keep on trying. The loot is there if you keep on digging.

Best thing ever!

 

After getting nothing but crap for months I got Caliban, Sulevin, Griffon, Sup. Cooldown amulet, Walking bomb ring and some other stuff.

Plus I pulled the Dragon Staff from the victory chest.

+1 to this. I got Sundering, Fury of the Veil, Agony, the superb critical chance ring and a very good greatsword with a name I can't remember right now (but it's better than any greatsword I had before). It's totally worth it to save the coins and buy the new chests.

10 chests into the new weekend chests and the best things I've gotten are a pair of enhanced ability rings I didn't have (and likely will never use). Before you say 'item score' I've spent 365k on chests and I open all doors when playing. I know people who haven't spent half as much pull superior gear from every single chest they open. This level of RNG is BROKEN! I know this game can't be shifted to the diminishing loot table system from ME3 because of how it's designed at it's core. Something needs to be done to move it in that direction, though. So that we know, KNOW, if we keep playing we will eventually unlock all of the items. It's just getting more and more disheartening seeing proven with every chest that it's a very real possibility I will never see half the gear I want from the loot system except on other players. Aside from the dragon victory chest and two dragon weapon drops (across 35 perilous dragons) the only high level uniques I have gotten in almost two weeks have been duplicates of items I already have when I am still missing a couple of dozen pieces of high level gear. Very disheartening.

I think it all depends how much you invested overall. I got 23 epics in my chests.

I am torn. On one side, I feel sorry for those who are still not getting good stuff, especially since I have championed their causes earlier..

 

On the other side, I am super happy to have gotten everything all of a sudden, getting an average of 2 awesome items in each chest (we are talking Sulevin, Calibans, Superb ring of HoK, and just about anything else I could ask for) that I feel I should just kinda slink away and be quiet XD

 

I never said my loyalty wasn't for sale did I? =3

 

Only drop rate I still feel could use work now is the Dragon. Don't get me wrong, not saying it should drop an epic dragon item each time. But it should drop something. My suggestion would be more gold (lots more..) and a random rare item of appropriate level for the difficulty (lvl 10-14 rare for routine, lvl 14-17 rare for threathening, level 17-20 rare for perilous) for those times the dragon items don't drop. Just to keep people motivated =)
