It's for all 6 science on my X-Box 360 account. Which is hard work so I want to make sure I get it right.

EDIT - I'm thinking OmniBlade and Strength Enhancers should be enough between biotic booms.

EDIT2 - I also don't plan on playing keep the rage mode with this Krogan build I'm going after. He'll be my happy drunk Krogan.

My Shaman has full fitness because I play him as Barrier bomber. No Shockwave, just Warp and Barrier. Run into the enemies, detonate the barrier and profit. Warp for situations where you need to fight at range. Sometimes I hit stuff but that's just for fun.

I have yet to get into this whole Barrier thing. But have to keep in on for protection. ... It's sometimes gives me a rash. Doc says I might be allergic to it?

But Daemon, really? No Shockwave? Man, I can boom all day with Warp > Shockwave. Why I go for maximum recharge speed.

This is kinda what I had in mind; http://kalence.drupa...13C56384!DGD.GO All 6 glicthed, so passives for max power and cooldown. Because Warp cooldown cannot exceed 2.25 seconds. Very important. Why I even use Power Recharge consumables on him, but Adren Mods are always way more fun on anything. Especially this Krogan and in helping with the sidestepping tactic since dancing with the enemies is fun.

Ammo is really what you have the most of, and not sure which would be best. Still experimenting, though I haven't tried fire ammo yet.

Warp cooldown is so past, that the next time you fire it on a bubbling Phantom or Banshee, it will hit (as it appears their bubble have cooldown too).

One other cool tactic is to Warp 2 enemies first then Shockwave both of them (since Shockwave has a max 2 enemy limit). And don't worry, your tanky enough to eat whatever lead is coming + your cooldowns are fast enough. ;)

But what I want to know is if I should choose evo 4 of fitness for melee?

There are better kits that melee better, so no. He can dish out more damage with BEs than Melee, because he lacks additional powers that buff melee.

His BE's are very slow and he's very weight sensitive (and barrier makes his cooldowns even slower). If you're not meeling with the Shaman - Human Adept is better in every way.

I go for a no Barrier build now. He's more versatile and his cooldowns won't be affected by Barrier as much.

Yeah. Barrier is more of a hindrance for him if you don't max it out for max CD.

I go with this though: http://kalence.drupa...23Q53363!4F958P

No.

I run a 65555 (6 in warp, 5 in rest) build with barrier+shockwave ragdoll for mooks and warp+shockwave for bosses. I do mix in a few melee attacks but it's not the main focus.

I leave the melee business to krosent, warlord and kroguard.

Full fitness with no Warp.  Claymore with Incendiary ammo + Shockwave for non-stop fire explosions.

Not taking Warp to 6 Detonate - Expose - Pierce on any kit that has it, is punishable by airlocking.

I love the Shaman as a melee build.  While the Shaman can't dish out as much pure melee damage as the Krentinel his biotic powers are very useful.  Warp staggers most enemies and seems to square them up for a perfect running melee.  And if things ever get hairy the Shaman can always fall back on his BEs which provides more versatility than the Krentinel.  I tend to run him as 6/6/6/0/6 with Talon and Melee Stunner.

Oh no. I forgot Piranha can't be weight glitched. Guess it'll have to be the Wraith for when on want an omnibade.

That's why you take recharge speed on Barrier.

EDIT - and 2.25 Warp cooldown is not slow. It's almost Lash speed. That means a biotic boom every 2.25 seconds.

I my non-glitched PS3 account I've been running him no fitness like so; http://kalence.drupa...!13T542!FGD.GO

But I want to try him with Shotguns & maybe Omniblade for when to mood arises too.

Maintaining his tankyness and max power recharge speeds with Adren Mod 3's make for very interesting gameplay.

They are the same without the aid of 420 extra melee Tech Amour provides (total of 4725 with & 4305 without).

And what about the Warp debuff? Does that do anything to add to melee?

LOL. I don't know how you get 2.25 seconds on Warp CD.

I get 2.39 seconds with 200% CD, power recharge on Barrier, all weight options and Power Recharge Speed III consumable.

And your build has 3.27 second CD on Warp without omni-blade lol. Also Warp has travel time, it can be blocked or dodged, Shockwave has limited range (even though it's quite long) and long travel time and enemies can simply side-step it,

Human Adept can cast Singularity to keep stuff in place and then shockwave it. He can BE from any range much faster, and he can dodge too.

2.05 with Power Recharge consumable. And even further to 1.95 without Barrier.

Without Barrier it's 2.25, with Barrier specced for CD it's 2.39

You forgot two things;  http://kalence.drupa...5!!43C5!8G.D.O

Plus there is a glitch with Kalance where 0.03 seconds keep getting added or not. So either 1.95s or 1.98 is the fastest possible Warp speed.

Also Warp has travel time, it can be blocked or dodged,

All the more reason to have faster cooldown so you can cast it already again.

LOL, nobody is gonna do that. Who's going to put Power Recharge consumable and gear on top of 200% CD and skip Barrier for a measly 0.2 second gain? Who's gonna not take Geth Scanner or something similar that help a lot more? You have to a complete idiot to do that.

And no matter how you cut it, the Human Adept is 10X better at Biotic Explosions than the Shaman. He can do Warp and Shockwave like the Shaman, but he can also do double Singularity explosions. He can immediately incapacitate 2 health/shield mooks and shoot something else while they are floating in the air.

It's not even close to compare HA and KS, KS can only take a few shots more and melee more reliably, that's it.

Warp is probably more effective but Shockwave to toss enemies around is way more Krogan-y.
