Duke Propser, one of the coolest orlesian. So sad we had to kill him.

Guy invites you to a wyvern hunt and outdoor party and he ends up dead for no good reason.

Nope. Can't do it. Not buying it.

Fiona would never go along with Corypheus. Never. It would contradict everything she believes. I also seriously doubt that she would say, "Oh yes, Alexius. I want you to march into Redcliffe and throw out Teagan. I might even help you do it!"

No. Just no.

And yet she does that, you can headcanon whatever you want.

There should be a option to give the elven wench to him, it would make the DLC bereable.

The more I think about this, the more it drives me insane. Fiona would not support a darkspawn magister bent on turning himself into a god. It's hilarious that people even think she would.

Your understanding of her character is wrong, then. She could and she did, and it is not terribly inconsistent with what she did up to that point, either.

Some folks in my canon world state may never believed that the Hero of Fereldan would ally with The Architect, but he did.

Sorry, but what you want to believe is not supported by the facts.

It was also detailed later where the Warden mages were under direct control of Coryphyshite. The Mages in Redcliff would be no different if you save the Templars.

Not exactly. The Grey Wardens have the taint, which allows Cory to control them. The Redcliffe mages do not.

As far as it stands, I read it that, while Fiona may not have liked working with Alexius, she in the end chose to follow him willingly. She has been known to make bad decisions like this.

As far as I am aware weren't there mage circles, particularly the one Vivienne belongs to, that could have taken some of the rebel mages?

Granted, they were all pro-circle. But we know that some of the mages in redcliff were forced into the rebelion.

There were a few mage circles that did not join the rebels. The Circles in Ostwick, Perendale, and Hasmal did not do so. I don't know of any others.

Wouldn't she rather die than help Corypheus remake/destroy the world? It doesn't make any sense to me!!! My mind is figuratively breaking trying to connect her reactions during In Hushed Whispers with her actions during In Your Heart Shall Burn.

Why do you think she met Corypheus? It was Calpernia that leads the Venatori if you side with the Templars. For all we know she mollifies any worries about allying with the "Elder One".

This is why I go for templars. In that quest you clearly have templars fighting back and against what's happening. In the mage line they all talk like they want nothing to do with it, but actively do nothing about it.

Yeah, not even in the mission. The mages were complicit in what they did

The Elder One was leading the army that Fiona was still an important figure in. She was the boss fight after all. How could she not have noticed him?

But you see, if it didn't keep going this way, I would have no reason to post funny gifs like;

3POyupA.gif

Or, my emote icons like;

So it's all good, right?

pretty sure OP hasn't come to a conclusion that is acceptable as to why Fiona decided to join up with Corypheus after the Templars are recruited

Not exactly. The Grey Wardens have the taint, which allows Cory to control them. The Redcliffe mages do not.

If he could control them through the Taint, then all Wardens would be under his control, not just the Warden Mages who did the demon summoning.

How could the Mages fight back in the Mage mission since it takes place in a future where Corypheus won?

Plus considering the fact Fiona is a Chia Pet for Red Lyrium in the furure, the mages did fight back but clearly lost.

her being a...laboratory, for red lyrium proves nothing about any rebellion on her part, Corypheus may have done so simply because he's kind of an ass
