Some months ago I started this thread to announce to the waiting world that I had finally gained the BotB banner on my Xbox account. I had already started an account on the PC, but I always swore that I would only play for fun and that there was no way in hell that I was ever going to grind challenges again

 

The result of my sticking tightly to that resolve can be seen here  For those of you who care about such stuff, it happened by my completing the Raptor Challenge with a headshot on a Centurion near the LZ on Ghost yesterday, so it completed with a showdown at sundown, appropriately enough. Since the second-to-last challenge I had to complete was the Hornet Challenge, my right index finger is presently demanding a holiday.

 

So now I'm holder of the BotB banner on two different platforms I'm sure I'm not the only one, but it can't be all that common either. Who else do we have here who's in the Multiplatform BotB club?

Some challenges are worse than others. And even the kits I like, I hated by the end of 200 waves

Thank you - I think? I don't see how it's an ego thing, since I freely acknowledge that pretty much everyone here on BSN is a better player, regardless of platform. I think all it shows is a strange, wilful, and dogged persistence.

Almost. Missing promotions, because something about N7 mattering and all that and I wanted to stay at 120. It was the cool thing to do... last summer, I think? I do have two maxed manifests, legit. And a third on the way, but that's.. um.. on PC.

  Why even let people know that you have this.  There was a time in our history where this would bring you shame!  I have one BotB and I sometimes consider not using it.
