ME2... I made the mistake of doing it with an NG+ character too, which increases the difficulty even more because the enemies are scaled beyond your own upgrades.
ME2 can get harder?
ME2 can get harder?
A little bit, yes. That's because the enemies match your level but if you start a New Game+, you won't have the weapons and gear yet. Although if you have the DLC weapons and gear, that's no issue either. Mattock, Incisor, Carnifex, Geth Shotgun and 4 or 5 complete armor suits are enough to get through the entire game. If you do Kasumi's DLC as soon as possible, then you'll get the Locust, too.
Not sure it's worth NG+ then.

ME2 Locust
... Also Kasumi
I always feel like hugging her when she sits all alone in the lounge. So cute. ^^
WOOOOOTTTT. You mean... You mean you never experienced the awesomeness that is the Claymore Vanguard in ME2?!? Or the shock trooper vanguard who can take two rockets to the face in insanity in ME1 and still charge the enemies like nothing happened? Drop MP and get onto it, NAO!
Nope, not yet anyway. I will though. I guess I always imagined the Vanguard version to be a little bit.... frantic.... for an old guy like me, at least!

Yep. Are you Sinful Force, btw? Your avatar makes me think of a story no one wanted to hear.

Yeah, though I didn't have any of those on my Xbox a/c. Trust me, without them it's more than just a little bit harder. I can't tell you how many attempts the Collector Ship mission took, trying every squadmate combination and re-speccing powers multiple times. I've never looked up a wiki or Youtube to help me do something in Mass Effect SP until after I've actually done it for myself, so it really was all trial and error. I did feel like a bit of a numpty when later reading all the advice about NG+ tactics. Playing as an Infiltrator would have helped for a start. I actually did it as an Engineer, eventually with Grunt and Miranda, but I sometimes think the AI just took pity on me.
I do agree about the Locust in ME2 though - what a great gun.
Sorry for the de-railing Mark, and nice Limerick JRandall! ![]()
I completed ME 1 and 2 about 20 times each, I can do every mission in those games in my sleep. The only thing I had to look up were the locations of all resources etc on the planet maps in ME1.
If you can, get all the DLC for ME2. And the Bring Down The Sky DLC for ME1 (best chance to get a good omni tool or armor for Tali). The ME2 DLCs add so much to the game, I can barely remember what it looked like without it. Lair of the Shadowbroker is definitely worth it.

You're right, I don't want to hear it.

It's ok, nor did we. ![]()

I have them all on PS3, just wasn't going to pay twice. Although I did buy From Ashes and The Citadel twice, because of their fabulousness. Kasumi never made it, though I did miss her in my final team photo in that playthrough.
No Kasumi? ![]()
She's one of the main reasons to play ME2.

did this for the first time recently, and also went to Korlus first so I could get Grunt's unique dialouge for the Omega missions.
was still EZ, I just needed 3/4 of the Mantis's ammo to kill each Krogan, and the squadmates were utterly useless and always dead because no health/ shield upgrades and derp AI.
I always feel like hugging her when she sits all alone in the lounge. So cute. ^^
don't bother. In addition to being obsessive over her lame dead boyfriend, she finds Jacob interesting

That's because Shep doesn't make a move. Oh well, Tali > Kasumi anyway.

well that goes without saying because quarian, but you haven't even mentioned another great option
If that's not a euphoric O-face, I don't know what is

Haha, I never recruited Morinth. Well... just once for the Dominate power, then reloaded and got Samara.
Did you ever notice that Tali is the only who always carries a long knife strapped to her leg? Cutting edge quarian weapons technology. ![]()

Well, one never knows when they will need to stab the shite out of a goddamn traitorous toaster
It's even part of her formal wear in the casino, because you know, rebellious quasar machines.
