I used to argue hunter mode was one of the best skills in game before geth scanner was introduced. I guess now a lot of people see why.

lol ... most of my deaths caused by enemy tactics that i dont know how to explain ....

not by i have not seen them .... perhaps my geo location and playing in high ping is also responsible ...

I like Geth Scanner, so no.

 

Plus: If phantoms have their 3 shot kill phase disruptors, Praetorian laz0rs through walls, Scion can kill me through hard cover, Geth and their endless stunlock, frozen and Stasis'd Hunters still shooting me and Pyros with their infinity range flamers, damn right I want Geth Scanner. 

 

Also: Armored Compartments, I don't use, but I have used it. When I do, it's so great to rage missile and not run out, so I can rage wave 7 and still have 4 or 5 left for whatever wave 10 will bring.

Geth Scanner is awesome and a ME3 MP without Geth Scanner would be missing out on hundreds of gameplay options that have significantly enhanced my enjoyment of the game after its inclusion.

OT: as long as rocket troopers double-tap me (that sounded a bit nasty), Hunters shoot me from stasis and Praetorians kill me through walls after the die, I don't feel guilty using it at all.

I use it on my Geth who dont use Hunter Mode...purely for thematic-purposes of course as i really dont "need" any of the Gears in Gold so why not just choose 1 you enjoy... Also it's range is very short and it helps spot invisible units, seems like a fair trade to me

I only use the Geth Scanner for solos and teamchallenges. I don´t use it during pug games, because yolo.

TBH I never really use it. I tried it for wall hackin' Poison Strike for a while but don't enjoy the Cabal that much. The only kit I leave it on, oddly enough, is Geth Engineer specced out of HM... for Jav wall-hackin' without the shield penalty. >:-)

Now, if I played more Platinum matches I may change my mind.

I wish it never got released.  That way, my sweet GI would be even more dominant, and I could still troll people to incorrect spawn points, further inflating my score, which, in the end, is all that matters.
