Dropped Items Appear As They Are?

I am not sure if this has been done, or if there is any way to do this. Would it be possible to make items appear as their models instead of as item bags?

 

An example being, if you drop a sword on the ground, it will look like said sword instead of a small brown bag.

I've done it for things like chests or barrels which already have models available. I use a tag-based OnUnacquire script that destroys the dropped item and spawns a usable placeable version from a custom blueprint. The usable placeable has an OnUse script that destroys itself and spawns the inventory item again on the user, allowing you to drop and pick up the item as many times as you want.

 

There is a thread here about combining existing weapon part models into a single model to use as a placeable.
