Honestly for the perilious dragon you just need runspeed and shields. Spamming shield is the only thing thats needed. So a level 8 virtuoso with a barrier ring can keep up a whole group in perilous if they stay nearby. Did it myself more then 20 sucessful dragon runs.

Barrier ring doesn't work on the virtuoso.

100 damage for 30 mana... vs 2k-4k damage for 30 mana... hmm, the choice is so difficult.
